Well originally here people were shitting on Higuain but last night's performance was fine from him as he couldn't do much with the limited service he was given so I went a bit off topic with our creativity etc.

I thought we were quite poor in attack last night but we could afford to be seeing as it was 3-0 still.

We can win the CL but I think we may struggle in a final as you only have one match to win and perform so if our attack isn't on point for one game we might struggle when it matters most to score.

If we had Sanchez on the left he would transform our team I hope we can sign him for next season.
I disagree here.

Maybe Higuain didn't get enough service but his overall game was poor.

He failed at managing our counter attacks (poor decision making and always trying to go forward alone instead of holding the ball and waiting for his teammates), his passing was poor and had a lot of bad touches. He seemed pretty nervous in general.

I actually thought he did good. Held the ball up and brought people into play.

Or am I alone on this one? :shifty:

Nope, I thought he had a decent game. Was a lot better in the second half. Held the ball up amazingly well and lead the line admirably. Just needs that one CL knockout goal and I feel he will unleash a (Mc)flurry of them.

IMO the only obstacle between us and winning the CL is Higuain scoring or not.

If the guy makes most of his chances in the coming CL games , we have certainly more than a shot to win it

Even the English commentators were praising Higuain's performance over the two games. That he put in a superb display as a number 9, all that was missing was a goal for him, but Juve didn't need him to score anyways. Mentioned how he opened up space for everyone else, held the ball extremely well, and when Juve was off the ball he was sacrificing himself.

Gonzalo Higuain: 45 apps, 29 goals for Juve.
Mario Mandžukić: 76 apps, 20 goals for Juve.

    Enough said.
