He looked amazing in possession. Almost every layoff was accurate. Not a fan of his last season with us but I have to commend a good performance when I see it.

It all comes down to how hard he is willing to push himself at this age? Will he give 100% in preparations for the match, trainings, gym, etc? Because we all know he can be world class player if above conditions are met.

I think style of play is a bigger influence on him. He was never that lazy in terms of pressing and forcing the opponent to the sidelines. I don't think he will be bad there.

With Allegri, the passing distances were really long. He had to make a lot of runs covering too much distance just to receive the ball. Just doesn't have the athleticism for that anymore. I think with more short passing he is more effective.

I'm the biggest proponent of Dybala #9 but Dybala can't make all the one touch passes Higuain made today. So what do?

One goes with the other imo. If he clicks better in new system, he will put more effort in training grounds to maintain good physical shape, which will positively reflect on his mental state and so on...

Rather play Ronaldo there still and someone else at LW. Win every match 2-0 instead of 3-1.
i can see that but seems Sarri will continue with ronaldo on the left.

hard to imagine that we will be able to accomodate dybala, higuain and ronaldo in one lineup. even harder to understand why we would possibly want to add icardi in there too.

If dybala is asking to be sold, we should consider trying higuain. Use kean as sub.

His link up play is better than both icardi and dybala.

Use the dybala money for neymar or a WC winger instead.

Convert bernardeschi to a Trec/DM and we are good to go.

And worst case, Higuaín is an amazing super sub. He is refusing to be transferred. That means he knows he wont start every game. Yet he is staying. If Higuaín is first sub off the bench, that’s a heck of a luxury.
