I don’t know what to say in all this. I trust Allegri and Co decisions. If Caldara was worth keeping then I’m sure we’d have said absolutely no in involving him into the deal. Which puts me into my next point. Now seeing Max has 1 yr left on his contract is he thinking short term and going balls deep for CL in the expense of Caldara?

Financially I totally agree.
I think Allegri has nothing to do with this. It's all about balancing out the books for us. We have to sell Higuain to get rid of his wages but also not to record a loss on his sale. Nobody wanted to pay for him those 55-60m so we had to convince Milan to take him for that amount.

Caldara is the sacrificed one here and nothing more. I don't even think we wanted Bonucci back. Thing is Bonucci will be a starter for us so his cost to our books makes more sense than Higuain who would ride the bench. And still, Bonucci will be cheaper for us.

We overpaid for Higgy and the rest are the consequences of this. Shit happens, time to move on.

Are we ready for fully motivated and in great shape Pipita vs us?
Seriously i loved the guy but some of the matches from last season was horrendous from him.
When u look at the pictures from medicals last and this year u just know how completely unprepared he came in 2017 july.

So instead of making money right away, we are loaning out all these players with loans+obligations?

Must be a strange financial tangled web for the club at the moment.

For whom? Only seems normal in Italy. Even for big names?
Well, we think its only in Italy because other teams dont even reveal the actual costs of the transfer, while Juve has to show all the details because of stock exchange. It was reported that most of the transfers are done like this, u just wont see Real writing this in their statement, because they dont have to do it.

sorry i thought u were asking about installments. The loan with option/obligation is only Marotta. Though seems other clubs are trying to copy him (James to Bayern).

Other clubs trying to emulate the Great One for incoming players, but not outgoing players. I don't know if I can recall a big club being forced to loan their best players hoping the other club takes the option to buy, I guess, aside from the James deal as you mentioned.

Did Monaco desperately need that cash though? They didn't buy GOAT and then need to scramble for cash.

That's my point I guess. It "appears" we painted ourselves in a corner and now we need to find a way out and are willing to use our own tricks against us :D
