@Fr3sh

Higuaín's effect on our attacking play:

I really don't know what to say about him anymore. I defended him for as long as i could, looked for the positives in his performances and tried to connect them to his play and trends in form last season but he really is utter shit these past few months. Even when he has gone through dry spells in front of goal in the past he has contributed to play and looked a menace for defenders but these days he is shockingly bad.

I doubt he could have physically or technically declined that significantly that fast. It Almost seems like he lacks the motivation that was obviously required in the past to have gotten someone so far in their athletic career as he has. Has he made enough money, signed a fat enough retirment contract with us, won enough in his career that he just doesn't care to put in the level of effort required anymore?

Or maybe he is like Sandro and his head is completely fucked by some private off field issues?

:D

Maybe if other teams will be kind enough to play with 9 men from now on he will have a decent second half of the season

Lmao people wanted Higuain to lose weight and became a workhorse and he did it and now they blame him for being a workhorse  fucking deluded animals:sergio:
What? He's still chubby as a cow. And a workhorse? He's lazy as shit on the pitch. We all want him to be a prolific goalscorer and at least have a semblance of ability to help in the creation of chances.

In summary, this year (last year he was mostly great):

He's fat. He's lazy. He isn't scoring. He doesn't create shit for himself. He doesn't create shit for others. He isn't involved at all in our attacking build-up and chance creation. He makes poor runs and rarely gets on the end of anything. He has no pace. He constantly takes one too many touches and gets closed down because of it.

Ye, he's unbelievable fat

Juventus already scored 52 goals, only Lazio have more - 56, 3rd best is Napoli with 45, who gives a shit about Higuain lack of goals if his workrate help others to score?

It doesn't. Bad observation. Couldn't care less as long as we are winning.

Let me give you this -rep to raise your dramatically low blood pressure.

No thanks to piggy. His workrate isn't helping others score. We'd be better off playing with 10 men in half the games over the last month. :p

That photo is from May. He gained at least 10kg in the summer.

Could argue that we spend 90m and utilise him in a team that has one or players who can create. Wtf is mandzukic doing in thst final third in a 433? Allegri has a lot to answer for with these piss poor conservative tactics.

Send higuain back to napoli and watch him scire hattricks every week.

And even if he lost weight which i agree he should...will it change the fact we have no idea how to attack or will it make allegri play more offensive allowing more chances for higgy? Khedira sturaro asamoah....wow! Mandzukic instead of bernardeschi...yeah great.

He's never really suited our team either.

I was never a fan but I appreciated his contribution last season, this season however he is not giving me any reason as to why I would even want him in our starting lineup, let alone the entire team.

hes terrible, Max needs to rethink his statement that Dybala is not a CF, because Higuain is man down for us each game. hes beyond useless at this point.

Mandzu-Dybala-Berna/Costa please Max, as soon as Paulo is back

We got one very good season out of him for €90 million

He has clearly declined by a significant margin and I don't see him getting back into the form he had last season

€15 million gross wages is a lot to have on one player who adds almost nothing to the team now

why not? it's not like he was in a much better physical shape last year. Max clearly trusts that he will improve his form, since he keeps on playing him and I think eventually he will. he'll never ever again be a complete striker, but he can still be a beast in the box and at times successfully lead the line just like last season if he gets his mojo back

try douglas instead of mandz and berna on the right, both supporting higuain...to see how it goes.
No one needs to support Higuain; he needs to ride the bench until he's able to support himself, find the motivation and mentality to push himself, drive himself further and return to being a true professional.
