Are P. Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar wingers?
With Ronaldo as LW if Real didn't have Marcelo the opposition could play without a RB.

People are incredibly overemphiassing his transferfee. Its like a stone around his neck. And they are expecting only a shitload of goals in return, they dont care about anything
'oh he's insane for the team ? fuck that, he costed so much, he has to score 75 goals'.

Look at it like this. We got a player group with a value and an added transfer budget each summer. Key is that it improves.

Sometimes you buy 4 players at the right price and improve. Sometimes paying double or tripple the value for 1 player is better than buying 5 worldclass players at the right price for the same total amount, cause that one player fixes a gap

Imagine this

Buffon

De Ceglie , Cannavaro, Baresi, Maldini

----Redondo - Pirlo

Messi - Platini - Nedved

-------Ronaldo9

You got tons of substitutes around the level of Becham, Figo, Garrincha

On the market, is Christiano Ronaldo for 30mil,Lewandowski 30 mil, Veron 30 mil And Cafu, for 100 mil.

You will buy Cafu, and finish the perfect team

Thats what Higuain did for us. He completed the team. Its irrelevant the fee was 100 mil. Because spending it on Higuain was the best we could have done.

In the same way, Bayern munchen had players such as Ribery, Robben, ManBro, Alba, ..... .....

And broke the club record for a fucking cdm called Martinez

It was that very addition, that transformed the team and allowed Robbery to play full creative cause Schweinsteiger and Martinez completely had their back, and also allowed Lahm and Alaba to fly on the overlap

One player finishing the team can do that

Currently, Dybala is worth 300 mil to us. Cause you cant fucking replace that guy with almost anyone.
And then you can play the 5-4-1.

-----------------Buffon

Cafu , Cannavaro, Baresi, Maldini, De Ceglie

----Redondo - Pirlo - Platini - Nedved

---------------Ronaldo9

I pretty much agree with what you are saying but in pur situstion it was more like we sold Platini to get Ronaldo and left our team unbalanced.

We dismantled our midfield to afford this player so we did not complete our team, the team was unbalanced last year and our midfield was raped in the final because of it. We sacrificed a big part of our midfield to pay for Higuain and i believe we could of spent our money better so i do expect a lot more from a 90m+ player. In saying that i am a fan of him and understand how important he is...

i just expect more from him, as great as he is he doent blow me away like i would expect a player with such a high price tag to do.

Raped ?

We played a great first half and forced Real to change their tactics from diamond shape to a flat midfield
Then Pjanic + Mandzukic fell out and Khedira failed to cover the spaces. Zidane saw it and moved Isco deeper.

We got raped cause two key players fell out and we had zero replacement for them.

We got Matuidi now. Imagine if we had him last year.

I love how you ask a question and then proceed to answer it, doesn't make you look like an ass, not at all :baus:

Zach, why can't you accept that we were simply the worse team on that day? It's the same with the final before that and that "Pogba incident", or the Bayern game the year before last. There are explanations for every game any team loses, but that doesn't mean that those are viable excuses.

I love how he uses the Pjanic and Mandzukic injuries as his comfort blanket for our loss :D

wasn't it playing part, though? our hardest working player and our midfield mastermind got injured. it's true that dybala, khedira and alves played like shit, and bonucci had a day off, too - but those 2 injuries also affected our game big time.
