Can he do it ?
Crotone and Bologna he will score 4 goals (if he even plays), so he has a very good chance

Us scoring lots of goals in games that stopped mattering? Yeah dont see it :D
If its for a good cause, like male Gerardo happy, why not :p

But you have a point, he will probably be rested for one or both of those games, so hed need to score vs Monaco, Roma, Lazio and Real.

Yeah, but I mean even if we dont rest, you notice how interested we are in attacking in 2nd halfs when we already leading? Imagine that attitude for a whole game, thats what we tend to have in last games of seasons when we have nothing to play for. It does not suit a hungry goal getter like Higauin, we already seen it this season in beginning, he was not used to a team that switches off gears after 1 or 2 up. His effort to keep going wasnt matched by the rests approach of killing off time and conserving energy.

But yeah, at that point there is not much to conserve energy for (except a hopeful CL final), so maybe we shouldnt switch off too much. Plus having it a dangerous 2nd gear where you effortessly attack is still good confidence builder and practice to keep the pulse racing for CL final.

Can he do it ?
Considering he often scores 2 in one game, he can do it, even if he gets some rest in some games.

not sure id want that. i like Dybala a lot and wouldnt want to see him on the bench
Carrick then, he's so underrated could be our new Pirlo.

i was thinking phil jones, because we should be looking at bonucci replacement he's going to join Pep
I like Jones he's very good but I'd prefer Smalling as he has magnificent leadership qualities.

i always liked Carrick. has that Pirlo magic about him but without being a liability defensively, knows Serie A well (played vs Roma, inter, Milan and the likes several times) and would be cheap. but i like your idea about Smalling even more. hes a beast in the air, so Max wouldnt be forced to play Mandzukic anymore for set piece defending, and we could field a real winger on the left. imagine how good we would be then

That's an important asset we'll lose with Bonucci, hopefully Smallings is as commanding
