Napoli consider Tevez bid?
By Football Italia staff

Napoli are considering alternatives to Gonzalo Higuain ahead of his Juventus transfer, including Carlos Tevez.

Multiple sources are confident Higuain has already passed a medical in Madrid yesterday and Juve will activate the €94.7m release clause in his contract.

This leaves the Partenopei needing a replacement and so far they’ve seen approaches for Mauro Icardi and Carlos Bacca rejected.

According to Sportitalia pundit Alfredo Pedullà, another candidate is ex-Juventus hitman Tevez.

He wants a move back to Europe after problems with his beloved Boca Juniors and Inter were already tipped for an offer this morning.

Tevez would likely be an extra option rather than the specific replacement for Higuain, but could certainly bring determination and hard work to the side.

We should replace Zaza with Tevez :seven:

You're not the fizziest drink in the fridge are you?

Higuain is being directly bought with the majority of the Pogba money. That is insane.
'fizziest drink in the fridge' Jesus. You must have been bullied a lot.

You're telling me we're using a chunk of the Pogba money for a World Class #9? Oh fuck the HORROR.

Idiots like you would be up in arms if we sold Pogba and turned around to say "Sorry, there's not really anybody in the market. So we won't be reinvesting it this Summer"

There's no other, let me capitalise that for you, NO OTHER World class #9 on the market anywhere. We've just addressed our only fucking weak spot in the team, replacing a past it Mandzukic with a man who just broke a 60 year old Serie A goalscoring record. You should be grateful we didn't penny pinch, sign a couple of nobodies for 40-50M and call it a day.

Di Marzio said the player has just given his ok to the transfer, we're negotiating with Napoli, no clause has been paid.
if De Lau would set his overinflated ego aside for a moment, he'd quickly realise this is a better idea.

How is Napoli gonna sign a major player with 44.5 mil this and 44.5 mil next season with Napoli controlling image rights ?
Juve has a good couple of interesting options. For example Pereyra, Sturaro, Hernanes, Zaza.

'But Zach they arent marquee either'.

True, but if Napoli is willing to negotiate a fee + players, Juve would accept a correct price. Napoli wont get a correct price elsewhere, they'd pay the price and some extra cause the other club will need to get replacements.

How about they say "fine, cash + players".

Zaza for 18 mil ? Pereyra for 15 mil ? Sure, thats on the bottom end of their market value, but its great for both clubs.

And with the leftover cash, Napoli can buy Icardi or Bacca.

De Lau is a moron if he thinks he's gonna get a direct replacement

Maby we are selling Pogba because he want to leave? Have you think about that?

So what should we do? We already bought Pjanic and we think HIguain can make us stronger. And to be honest he can. Morata scored 15 goals in serie a in 2 seasons. Mandzukic is a good striker but not WC. Higuain scored 36 goals in 35 matches in serie a.

Lets be honest we cant replace Pogba, who could? Verratti, Iniesta, Modric maby. But we cant get them. So we are making the best of the situation.

Pjanic is here and im sure one more CM will arrive. Hector Herrera would be my choice.
You're missing my point, whether Pogba wants to leave or not is irrelevant. I am upset with how we are spending the money. To swap Pogba for Higuain is crazy.

We didn't have to get a direct replacement for Pogba but we should have paid less for Higuain. I think the money could have been spent much more wisely.

How realistic is that guy, because he sure gets alot of mentions that 'he'd be great for juve' in the press

If Napoli of all people go in to this Summer market with all that cash, maniacal fans demanding reinvestment and already undergoing a pre-season, they'll get taken to the cleaners.

They'll end up with Fellaini, Bacca and Sissoko or some ridiculous shit like that.

Man you really are a grade A wankball. A chunk of the money?? If the rumoured figures are to be believed we will have 6 million left over after Higuain.

And this whole argument that 'there are no other world class 9s on the market' is literally the dumbest argument ever. Higuain would have been lumped in that category with his 94 million release clause but hey look a that! For 100million there are lots of world class players available. We overpaid massively

So you don't mind?
No I just can't believe it still.

In this market, Higuain is surely worth 60M but 94M is outlandish.

It has to be said that based on his performance last year, you would be hard pressed to find a comparable alternative. You're looking at the Lewandowski or Aguero class. Just don't let Higuain take penalties.
