According to the latest reports, Gonzalo Higuain will join his new Juventus teammates on Thursday after his €94.7m move from Napoli.

Multiple sources are confident not only will the club activate his release clause, but also that he has already passed a medical in Madrid.

Pipita had been due to arrive for pre-season training with Napoli at their Dimaro retreat on Monday.

Instead, Sportitalia report he will be in Turin to meet his new teammates on Thursday or at most 24 hours after that.

Juve are still on their summer tour and will play in Hong Kong on July 30.

Higuain would therefore join in with the other players with extended vacation time after Euro 2016 and the Copa America.

It’s possible he could make his debut for Juve against West Ham United in London on August 7.
