I hate these kind of arguments. The money matter to us because we're invested in the club emotionally. With this kind of logic you wouldn't be able to discuss anything football related because we're only fans.
If this management was reckless like Milan, you have a point.

But this management is the reason we are sitting here discussing about winning CL and buying top players. People have to give them the benefit of the doubt especially if this board is convinced of spending that kind of money.

You're right, but still, not everyone is 100% right all the time. it's a huge outlay and a risk.
I have to admit I have very mixed feelings, but mostly I'm positive. if he arrives that's great for the team. if he doesn't, the mere fact that this rumor is still up in the air says something about us. and considering where we were just 5 years ago - that's pretty amazing.

Of course. I am feeling uncomfortable too. I still don't think it happens anyway but I was saying the same before we signed Pjanic though.

Always ultra skeptical of these kind of signings.

Nobody really laughs when EPL teams spend mega money to buy World Class players. It's when they drop 35M for your Andy Carrols of the world we all piss ourselves.

Nothing funny about using your resources to buy the best players in the World.

The management is going to do whatever they're going to do regardless of what we all say. I think we can all agree that they have done very well, and even if Higuain would end up failing here, that wouldn't change. But our management isn't faultless, and automatically praising them for every single transfer move is just silly.

for 60M, hes ours

He is not on the market unlike Higuain and Arsenal signing him will only give him more reasons to stay. Arsenal can easily afford that.

You're delusional if you think Arsenal signing Higuain means they'll let go off Sanchez. Do you realize they're closing in on €500M revenues? They don't need to sell anybody. Besides Higuain and Sanchez don't even play the same position so it's an invalid argument.

I dint mean it like that though. But I am just saying I won't complain if they go ahead and do this insane move.

i dont see it that way. if he wants out, it has nothing to do with who they sign, he will still want out. he has 2 years on his contract so they cant really afford to turn down a huge sum for him, especially if they are trying to sign a 94M player

But Sanchez doesn't want out ? They can afford to give him big wages and sign top players in this case Higuain to convince him to stay ?

Times have changed. Arsenal can easily turn down a big offer if they needed to. Besides €60M isn't that big in today's market.

They can money wise, but can they convince a player to stay if he wants out? I don't think so. We don't know if hes off the market either, last time we bid 30M, they asked for 45M
