Thats the past mate, big name players, keep a large part of image rights, as its colliding with sponsership.

For napoli this is an issue. On Cavani they probably had most rights, wich would have changed in his newer contract since he became a star.

Now, napoli can buy higuain for 40 mil, but for his wages, thats something else. they arent that rich, compared to us, they cant have a simular wagebill without the same marketting profit.

Now Higuain is argentine, whom allways have the very messi "multi agent" issue, and its likely a portion of his imagerights goes directly to them.

Napoli cannot afford Higuain, if they arent having all the image rights.
