I still just can't understand why so many Juventini don't see the negatives in the Tevez deal, he is on the decline at 29 what has he actually done at City the last 2 seasons!?, a mercenary, has the potential to refuse to play for the club but people just look down on City and think that as he was at an inferior club he won't do that here, he refused to play for Corinthians in the past and had the nerve to transfer from Manchester United directly to Manchester City which is pretty scummy. not to mention numerous affairs in his personal life.

I think people want to overlook all of these details because we have been stuck with an average (for our standard) strikeforce for the past few seasons, and I think that people don't generally believe that we can't do better than Tevez, but WE CAN DO BETTER THAN TEVEZ and we don't need the baggage that he brings. And yes I am fully aware that realistically Juventus will only be able to sign a big club's reserve striker.

Tevez was infact pretty good last season, certainly in the 2nd half of the season he was pretty decisive

He got some goals but my point is that he hasn't been anywhere near as effect as his first season at City and his time at United, also what about the baggage that he comes with, how would you act if Tevez did refuse to play for us in a match?

Tevez' refusal to play in a match was more to do with the fact mancini is a useless man manager, that doesn't mean to say he will be the same under Conte. Anelka brings alot of baggage as well i don't remember him moaning once. or what about balotelli under mancini? the training pitch fights they had? don't see that when he's with Italy or milan any more

some goals? as i pointed out earlier in another thread 11 goals and 14 assists in the league last season is nothing to be scoffed at, considering how poor man city actually were last season.
