The answer to his question is yes. And tbh those are the worst kind of fans, they think being English means you have a greater right to support an English team. England has 92 professional clubs, so it's not really any excuse.
I don't think he is/was our main target. I guess we were looking for a cheap deal but Perez refused so we move onto other targets. I can see Jovetic and Tevez being higher in our list than Higuain, considering we've got Llorente for CF position.
Why would it be weird to value Higuain less? Don't people have different opinions? Even if they did, doesn't mean to say they want to pay €30m for him.
That's a poor argument. I could just offer €25M for Messi because IMO he's only worth that sum. Doesn't stop my offer from being weird and totally embarrassing.
Higuain isn't worth 30 mil, he's a bench player coming from an average season, chokes is in big games, we already have a new CF. 25 mil should be our last offer.
