Bayeren had a 400mil turnover, and payed 45 mil

We got a 200mil turnover, and offer 25 mil

We aim for the top, but i think its been clear for a while that we cannot just spend recklessly, financial part is very important for us.
I understand that Juve has to take care of the financial aspect but going from 25 to 30 is not spending recklessly in my opinion. We want to play with the big boys now so we should start acting like one.

Everybody is bullying Juve because they know we are desperate for a top striker but we go with this afraid kid mentality, afraid of spending big money.

The algorithms he uses are too complex for your peasant brain to grasp.
With statistics and variation analysis, you actually can. And yes, for a peasant like you, that is probably to complex

How did you come up with the conclusion that 25m is our limit? Show your calculations, please.
looking at the numbers we have offered for players, there is a lineair correlation between player and fee, increasing depending on his markettable value.

So, for Higuain, it would be 25mil, with marotta trying to lowball it to 20/22 mil cause "transferlisted"

If Bane was anything like Zach, that movie would've ended at the 20 min mark. Commissionaire Gordon would've captured him. They wouldn't even need Batman.

I think you've got that arse-ways mate, Zach is unrelenting and an unstoppable force of nature, the movie would be never ending :D. He is the Society's flag bearer, you'd do well not to cross him.

25 mil in cash is not big money ?

Its the limit we can pay, if we dont want to end up like a seller team
It's big money and probably the finances of the club are not strong enough to supported but we have to do an effort here to take a step in quality. I see it as an investment that in the future will generate a revenue for the club. It's a risk but that's the way it is.

If the management of the club is not willing to spend big money now, then they should change their strategy. They cannot go around trying to get top players by offering cash+player deals, co-ownerships, or try to lower the fee to ridiculous amounts.

I am losing my mind with this endless sagas of pursuing a top player only to end up with a bendtner type of player because we didn't show the money.

I saw either take a goddam loan for 60 million, buy Higuain and Jovetic and you are set for at least 5 years in the forward department or send scouts to try and find the next Cavani or Falcao for 1 million.

All, new to site, long time juventus fan. Been reading a few posts, have a comments:

Appears arsenal is making a 26 mil bid for Fellaini which should only hurt their chances of going after Higuain. I personally was hoping juventus may reconsider felliaini, I rate him fairly high as an attacking midfielder, could be a nice compliment with a higuain/llorente or tevez/llorente attack. Either way, I know arsenal has the money and its different position than Higuain, but I feel can only help us.

In terms of value or threshold we should commit too for Higuain, 25 mil for a proven goal scorer who is just entering his prime to me is a no brainier. We all know conte was salivating at the idea of getting into CL semis. If they really want to be that top 3 top 4 team Euro team, this HAS to be that next step. We have a few players to unload and a pending sponsorship with Samsung that should help us make that move. If we do not land him, we are showing the fans, let alone the world, juventus cannot and will not be in that top tier.

Signings like higuain are not only good for Juventus but huge for the Serie A to land themselves back on the radar .

Im with colleguaso on this one. Ill support marotta in his tug o war for higuain.. but if things get rough... we should consider a compromise and buy the guy, even if that means 5 mils more in the reds.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear ! If it isnt the guy that cuts a section out of my post explaining purchasing Lissandro Lopez for 18mil would have been wrong cause we wouldnt be able to afford Jovetic in the summer.

If we do not land him, we merely show the world that there are richer teams then Juventus. Nothing new.

It all depends on what the final price is. Again, if we are talking 25 mil like I said, I will disagree. If someone swoops in at 35mil, than yes.

Point being, we should not be hesitating in the mid 20 range, like we have in the past.

the qorld already knew that since 3 seasons ago, at this point the effect we are making is no longer reinforcing that fact but simply making a fool of ourselves and further reinforcing a mindset of "we are a such small provincial club that is so afraid to lose 10m euros" to ourselves even if we don't even know it.
