I disagree with Moggi on this, Higuain for us right now should be considered a champion.
Trully he is not a proven champion like Zlatan, or not even a rising one like Falcao.
But he is a high quality CF, tested in the highest standards and he would be a high profile target, with high competition in international level.
It would be a major transfer for us, not even Trezequet himself was such a high profile player when we got him.

I think that Moggi said that because he knows that Marotta cant sign such a player, never did and never will.
So in order to protect his failure, he is trying to play the high chase down, so there can be excuses and help us digest yet another failure.

I for one though, regardless of his performance, i will be praising Marotta for years to come, if he achieves that.
It would be his first acquisition in this level and this would send a great message of appreciation for both our club and his stature.
We would really benefit from such a prestige booster and the whole serie A with us.
I still believe its highly unlikely though and Arsenal is playing tango with us for the Jovetic interest...

Let's say both Juve and Arsenal/Tottenham bid the same amount, offer the same wages, contract etc and Higuain decides to accept the offer of whichever EPL presumably qualifies for the CL. Would you concede that the Premiership being a bigger attraction for most footballers in this day and age, is a viable reason for Marotta not being able to sign said player?
