Therefore it's logical to conclude the transfer budget will also increase proportionately allowing the team to make better signings. At least wait till Sep 1 to bitch about it.

Not sure - they're not really the same type of player. Pogba likes to get higher up the pitch a lot more and is heavily involved in defence.
