Mourinho prefers his 4-2-3-1 fetish, and Higuain is not a good lone forward. Benzema isnt eighter, but more adept at it.

Benzema can offer more to the team in that formation, but his production is crap. Higuain cant offer the team much, but still outproduces benzema on a minute to goal/assist basis

Looking at 2008/2010. benzema was benched, so Higuain could play next to ronaldo. Higuain was massively succesfull, where as benzema was crap.

We play 2 forwards, He will thrive here WITH a coach that brings out the best of him

What kind of logic is that? Benzema was never a sure starter under Mourinho, he rotated them based on what he wanted to achieve tactically. Benzema is fine, I'll happy to have him here but will you say no to Modric because Ozil is preferred to him?

Indeed. Benzema is a better assistman than Higuain and that's most likely why he's starting ahead of Higuain, to assist Ronaldo.
