Does signing Higuain mean that we still keep the 3-5-2 and play him and Llorente together upfront? Or does it suggest that we'll abandon the 3-5-2 and go for the 4-3-3 and bench Llorente? Or can he play on the right side of a 4-3-3?
I love Higauin and excited about getting him. But I don't know how Llorente and him would work together, who will bring the creativity to the table? Which leads me to believe that Diamanti will be brought in the for the money left.
In no particular order, Aguero, Tevez, Falcao, Cavani, RvP, Ibra, Rooney, Messi, Suarez, Villa. I don't mean to disagree that he is a good striker. It's just that I was addressing someone calling him world class.
Seriously though, this would obviously be an amazing coup if it were to happen, but as Suns alluded to, where is the creativity gonna come from? Could there be some kind of trident of Vuc/Llorente/Higuain in the making and if so how well would that actually work in practice?
Because it simply can't happen. We have too many mediocrity at the moment, there's no way we'd let a player like Llorente (who also gets 4.5mln per season) be only a rotation.
There's no way we'll play 4-3-3. Even 4-4-2 makes more sense.
