So that would mean he's not good enough? We're not Barfa or Shitty, get real. Higuain is an awesome player, the kind of striker we need, there shouldn't be much of a debate when/if this guy becomes available.
I made that remark because I thought thats what Albo meant, like if someone was criticizing Messi but he explained it very well in his last post. I am not a fan of higuain but if he comes to Juventus, I hope he proves me wrong with a hat-trick in the CL final and give Juve the trophy. :D

Personaly i don't like Benz,i know alot of people prefer him to Higuain,but i don't .
Higuain is my favourite CF i would take him even over Cavani .
I would love Benz too,but he won't move for sure, also i don't thin Higuain will move
I too rate Higuain much higher than Benzema and its no wonder that Higuain and Benzema have similar stats while Higuain is a sub!
Higuain is great and is underated by Mourinho.
I think we have a chance for him.
Id still like Cavani more altough I wont complain over Higuain.
I still hope we get a supporter as over performing Pepe shoud come as a sub

Suárez over Higuaín at CF. I've seen it all.
Suarez over Higuain for me, but not as a CF. I want Suarez as a RWF, and Jojo to be moulded into a striker, or Suarez + Torres/Dzeko on loan with an option/obligation to buy.

I'm watching a program on Suarez now  :touched:

Benzema >> Higuain

Benzema is the more complete footballer, even if Higuain is the better finisher (not by much tho).

I cannot believe that some people here are unsatisfied with Higuain and rather wants Suarez, Benz orTorres!
There is no guarentee that Torres will be as good as earlier again, Suarez isn't a goalmachine but rather a ss and finally Benz is not for sale.. Compared to Cavani i would say that he is just as good or maybe better? i have the feeling that Cavani is more dependant on good service from his teammates than Higuan is. In my opinion would Higuain be the best option for the attack in the summer and he would also be one of the best attackers in serie A if he were to arrive in Juve!

You can see some of his skills in this video:

In any case Higuain comes(transfer; and btw I don't think he is coming any other way) he will be the only first class player we are going to buy. I am hoping that there will be another 50 mils for transfers, because I trust Conte and I feel like we could really use the push now, but the figure mentioned around of 25+transfers seems much more realistic. Give it or take 5 mils.
In any case the argie comes he will be 30+ at the very least on his RM salary. Add some hefty bonuses to persuade him Juve 'values' him more than say Chelsea or PSG, City bunch. And we are back to square one with Pepe feeding him balls upfront, waiting for a sunny day from Mirko. I want for us to look for a RWF or a LWF with a real right winger (Nani for ex.).... Now if Rossi comes as a LWF, someone like Nani as a winger and we get Torres on loan ... that is a true upgrade on our attack imho. And we might have some cash for another defender.... (Cissokho...)

In essence Higuain = Dzeko/Torres loan(some of the fee is always included) + Rossi + 1/2 Nani (or another good RW)
Is he that good? - is the question. I say no.

suarez ? torrez ? jovetic ? dzeko ?

oh those are cute names, and oh, they are happy flairfull fairies

but resultwise, no one compares to higuain

at least, no one we can realistically get

wich in fact, also exclused higuain

9 quality strikers choking the big game, or 1 worldclass cf to break the deadlock, that doesnt hve injury concerns ?

i take the latter

higuain !

^^^:agree:

I'd much rather get my hands one Grossi--Dzeko--Nani then just Higuain. Grossi is the only likely one, Dzeko is gonna be hard one imo and Nani seems almost impossible.

Higuian would be 40mil give or take
Nani (25mil), Grossi(15mil) and Dzeko(25mil)
Can we really afford 65mil? And that JUST in attack. And does Marotta have the abilities to make two and half big signings (Rossi is the half).

we arent getting a 30 mil forward

we will get 2 signings up front, from a 25mil+sales budged

this has been stated in the past.
Really? Why 2, but not 3? Who stated it? Are you sure a club will let information leak to his rivals about his budgeting decisions be it on official or unofficial channels?

Unless we see our first transfer we wouldn't know shit really. All we do is some guesswork, but as history has shown various gurus are far from good (no offence to valued members here) and the honest answer to 'how' they do it is logical deduction most of the time and an obvious share of market knowledge.

Your logic is... faulty... to put it mildly. As a starter we know jackshit about our sales income in the summer. For instance Krasic+Quag can make 6 to 10m difference just on market fluctuations alone. So what are we gonna go in the middle of June/July and change our main target from this to that guy, because we have less/more money?
The only sure thing is that we gonna buy forwards this summer. And that is usually a pleasant moment for supporters... :spliff: + :tuttosport: Lets hope Marotta doesn't get the better of it.

I was speaking to a Spanish Real Madrid fan earlier, his opinion of Higuain is that he a good player but not what we would call a 'top player', and he goes missing in big games too often. I suppose he would be ideal to kill off the teams we have trouble with :D

Yes, I value him a tad higher than that as well.

My brother is a huge Madrid fan and between Higuain and Benzema, he always prefer Gonzalo.
It means he is smart enough to understand he is better

Benzema is a good player no doubt but Higuain is much more clinical
Its true Benzema is more complete but when you get a striker the most important thing is being clinical
In that aspect Higuain is twice as good as Benzema.
Just look at the stats - Higuain scored more while Benzema is the starter

Not that it is comparable as Borriello is pure crap but if you take Matri and Borriello - Borriello is the more complete while Matri is obviously much better
