We'll have much more money to spend than Milan (mainly because of our new stadium), I think we'll be better than them if we make 2-3 quality signing next summer.

i read a financial article about juve..we will be suffering in the next 2,3 years because of the debts we have, the cost of the new stadium and not playing in the cl in the last seasons. we need to define our tactics, then we should look to improve based on that

This excellent article, alongside several articles I read from la Gazetta dello sport, Corriere delle sport, etc.

Read this article before and it's pretty interesting read.

But I've been watching Inter for years and I'm pretty convinced that if Inter ended up not qualifying for Europe next season then Moratti will spend big this summer.

No way will Moratti stand there doing nothing, he'll do what he's always does (splashing his cash).

Ah thanks, I had read an earlier article by the same blogger on Juve, hadn't seen that.

"All those adds and drops would produce a far more palatable loss of €18 million, which would be well within the FFP acceptable deviation. For the purposes of FFP, UEFA also exclude some expenses that are considered to represent positive investment, such as youth development (€6 million per the analysts’ presentation) and community (estimated at €2 million), which would bring the figure down to a €10 million loss."

Interesting.

Indeed. And that's clearly acceptable. Thankfully, there's still some left of the transfer kitty that was already set aside, though. Hopefully there'll be enough for at least 1 top player.

Yes. I believe Inter's main downfall was letting go of Eto'o more so the departure of Leonardo and the arrival of Gasperini and Ranieri.

Inter have good enough players to salvage something from this season, but with their pathetitic state of their players and their incompetent coach I can't seem them pulling through.

Maicon, Lucio, Samuel, Palombo, Poli, Cambiasso, Sneijder, Forlan, Zarate, Milito

I don't know what sets them so apart from Udinese and Lazio in quality but they're just falling apart and have absolutely no confidence and will power to succeed.

Napoli are definitely the third best team in Italy. I hope its Us, Milan and Napoli who make it to the CL next season. We're the only ones who could do anything as of now. Roma is inconsistent as shit, Udinese perform well because they have Di Natale but he's a big choker, and Lazio got mauled by Atletico so they most likely won't do much if they got into the CL.

Well that's my 2 cents. :)

In terms of starters, yes. But they do not have the depth to perform in two competitions, hence why they are where they are in the league. And if they don't make CL this season they'll probably have to sell at least one of their 3 star players and they'll go back to being a mid table team.

Yes, they are struggling with lack of depth. If they make the CL again this season, they'll definitely buy more. However I can see Napoli unloading one of their superstars and that would be the demise of the club.

Napoli's midfield and defence isnt as bad as many claim. People got to high standards here. If they were that bad, they would never get a result against all the big teams like they have been.

cavani lavezzi and hamsic are amazing players. first two worldclass, the other one very good aswel

they creative subs fit their play style, inler is solid, and the other defensive midfielders are technically very limited, but are solid aswel

their defence, is horribly playing ball, fullbacks are below decent, BUT, pure defensively, they do their job.

current napoli, is with all rights, thirdbest in italy.

the only reason they arent ranked third, is the dept if their team. lets be glad because with dept they'd be scudetto challengers along with us and milan.

inter ?

best player is sneijder, who is useless since they got rid of their mobile players, and are left with static ones.
to old, to much have been

People that criticse our board for selling the elder players, take a very good look, because we could have gone that way
inter kept their old guard, and sold their by far most priced asset

what inter should have done, is having a long therm vision, and selling half the team, especially anything ovetr 31, and building a new squad around sneijder and eto'o

they didnt and got a retirement home on wages you dont even want to know

Today, the CdS headlines us with Robin Van Persie, Gonzalo Higuain and Damiao. Referred to in the context of a 'strategy' with next seasons Champions League commitments in mind and the obvious need to strengthen the squad. Quite clearly if two of these players were brought in at a combined cost of say £40m+ then I would see that as a minimum in terms of strengthening if we are to get past the group stage.

When the stadium project was envisioned a few years ago, I hope that they looked very carefully at the Arsenal experience, whereby the total cost of building the Emirates Stadium has left them severely short of funds to remain competitive in the English Premier League. This ignores the Wenger deception that he didn't want to enter the market over the last few seasons to the extent of the other key clubs in that league.

I'm confident that significant signings will emerge between May and August in order to maintain our continuing progress under Conte.
