yes he is more creative and yes he would be more useful than Higuain as i do not think he is the potent striker to slam the goals in, buying the Argentine would be throwing bad money after bad
I don't understand. Are you saying we need someone to score goals but Higuain is not the right man for the job but Jovetic is?

Jovetic is our top priority singing for the last two years as far as I can tell. Maybe I am wrong.
Then why were we after Higuain and Tevez? Smokescreens? Please. If that is true, it is indeed a confirmation that we clearly lack vision of what type of player we really need upfront.

I think we were trying to get one of Tevez/Higuain plus Jovetic.

How about vacation? :D
Well we have a nice climate and good beaches here on Adriatic. One of the cleanest in Europe. Some of the biggest stars come to Croatia's coast Tom Cruz, Beyonce...
Not that into beach holidays.

Most of my recent trips have been to Italy to watch football and eat and drink well.

If u remember the interview jojo gave a few weeks ago ,he says 'juve want me over ibra, tevez, higuain'
Fairly obvious what that means but klin does have a fair point.

Nah.I think we should take his word here than believing random reports.
Some sky sources reckon we are going to make an 'official' bid for higuain.
Make of it what you will.
This deal is far from done.

Altho Arsenal are favorites here. i dont expect us to outbid them.

I thought Real wasn't gonna negotiate over Higuain until they got a new coach. Or was that only for Juventus?
It was only a diplomatic way of telling Marrotta to lay off. If a deal with Arsenal goes through, then that's probably what it really was.

Since when Higuain to Arsenal is a done deal?

Joe seems to be sure of it.
Pretty close seems like, sky have reported anyway.

That's about 5,5m euro which if true is a fuckin' disgrace that we're losing out. The salary issue just went out the window.
The wages is just an old excuse people would spew out when we're after a top player. What did Marotta think before he went after him? That he'd convince him to get a €3M wage per annum? Imagine what the case would be with Tevez.

Deal with it, Suns. We're getting Jovetic because he falls in that pathetic category our great Sporting Director is able to sign.
Even if Arsenal are paying him a bit more, it's not because they necessarily value him more, they probably had to negotiate a better package since the player could have a clear preference for Juventus. If we agree to Madrid's fees or match Arsenal's bid, I think Higuain would choose us over them.

Is he? Then why are we wasting so much time chasing Higuain with all those trips to Madrid and contacts with City for Tevez? Smokescreens??

Honestly, Marrotta will eventually land up with whoever accepts his deal first out of the three clubs. We talk about Llorente coming here on 4.5m to be a cf and are sure he won't be benched. And Higuain remains one of our targets.

I don't think we are clear. Hopefully it'll be one of Tevez and Jojo though. SS is what we need.

Well baggio,if u feel that way ,then thats not diplomacy thats a straight up lie to the juve DS.
This is not a tv show we're talking abt here.lol.
I expect negotiations to progress only when their coaching issue is settled.

I believe he was. Della Vale was rather stubborn in his claims so Marotta going to RM or City might have been his way of pointing out that there are other options available.

And I wouldn't call it time wasting. That's pretty much their job and he might have scouted some other player by the way.

Of course we are all just assuming here.

In Perezs defense, he also gave an interview soon after the Marrotta lunch about how much he valued Higuain at, and even supposedly said Juve shouldn't bother showing up if they think they can get him for less. Even if his words were misconstrued by the press, it's clear he valued the player differently than Juve/Beppe. So effectively he could've just given Juve time to make a revised bid for the player. Coz while we don't know where the player will end up, one thing is certain: Higuain is leaving Madrid, new coach or not.

Negotiations will only start when and once madrid have hired their coach.both bronzetti and marotta have clearly stated that.
I posted rumors on arsenal being close to him here but that doesnt mean u hav to treat it as gospel.

Yes, but Higuain and JoJo are very different players. When you chase a 30m valued player, you have to be very clear about his profile and responsibilities on the pitch. If JoJo is our priority, then we don't need a guy with vision to see that the immediate alternate to that is a Tevez. Higuain shouldn't feature in our priorities at all.

If it makes you feel better that may happen, but he's still not going to come to Juve at the numbers we have suggested. And Perez wouldn't be declared a liar if he closes with Arsenal before Ancellotti's appointment either.

My argument is based on actual quotes from more than one person not random reports and making assumptions.

I love your optimism but wasn't the same case with Aguero 2 summers ago? We were very close to him, based on quotes and reliable sources and everything signaled that we are leading the chase until City showed up, no quotes, no reliable sources, nothing. Just some BS articles in the English press and boooooom, the next day Aguero landed in Manchester for a medical.
