He has done quite good.

He hasn't been given that many oppertunities to link up midfield and attack though since he was often partnered with Giovinco, where he was the CF more or less.

I'm not bashing him, I'm just wondering if his last two seasons are enough to warrant him starting spot for the future and not investing his sale in Higi

Giovinco is the one who's used a CF. Gio is the one playing off the ball and running deep behind defenders. Vucinic is the SS and does link the midfield and attack.

Honestly does it matter who we sell Vucinic to ? If we can get 12-15m for him that is amazing considering that he hasnt had the best seasons. Its not like we are selling Vidal to our rival, sell him so that at least we can get some money back or use it to help with other purchases

If Jovetic joins us, and we already have Llorente, then I can understand why Vucinic might want to leave, as he might be relegated to the bench; he'd definitely be 3'rd fiddle with those two on our books. Factor in that next season is a World Cup year, and he might want to get more playing time to stay relevant. I seriously doubt his place with the Montenegro squad is ever in doubt, but he might want guarantees that Conte might not be able to offer him next season.

If Higuain/Jovetic and Llorente join us over the summer. I can't see Vucinic being satisfied with being 2nd fiddle, or Giovinco much for that matter. I feel that should we have a decisive mercato, those guys will be more inclined to leave compared to someone like Quag.
