The HDD is necessary for game saves, downloading games and demos off of the network, etc..... You don't need memory cards anymore. The size of the HDD depends on what you are looking to do. If you are the type that wants to downlaod a bunch of games and movies off of the store,then you can go with the 250 GB. The good thing about the hard drive is that you can swap it out for a larger one at any time. That is what I did with my 1st generation PS3. It had a 60GB Hard drive at the time, but I swapped it out for a 250 a couple of years ago

I think a smaller HDD would suit me more than. I don't even know you can download/buy from the store out of Croatia, we're kind of behind in pretty much everything. Thanks for the reply.

I just hate how games expensive are. We had GTA and PES here for a bit over 100e.

Yeah, that sucks. That's the main reason I never bought one. Newer games here are around 500kn which is around 70€.

Hell, when I asked here for GTA and PES 10 it was 11.500 - 12.000 din. That's 115e

It's really crazy. I have only one game lol. I had some other but I've borrowed those.

It's really really amazing to play almost any game but it's too expensive for me. So many games I'd like to try but I can't afford as much.

Have you considered amazon.co.uk? I buy my CDs/DVDs from there and it's much cheaper. PES 2010 is 24 pounds which is about 28€ + shipping to Croaita is like 2-4 pounds(I doubt it's any more expensive for Serbia).

PS3 games are rather expensive here too, but the PS2 and Computer ones are cheap.
Those are in the region of 1/2 a JD up to 2 JD. While PS3 differs, from 50JDs for unpopular games and reaches about a 100 JDs which is about 150$.

I have the game at home. I only had the energy to play the first two minutes of it, but when I have time I am going to delve into that one very deeply. Very excited to get going with it. For some reason, I am obsessed with finishing Lost Odyssey on the 360. I bought the game 6 months ago, never bothered to play it, and then about a month ago Idecided to give it a whirl and i love it.


Oh, I also was able to get the downlaodable content for Heavy rain. Its called Heavy Rain Chronicles: The Taxidermist. Apparently it takes place before the actual game where you get to play as the person who eventually becomes the Origami Killer

Ok hold on, apparently it is not the person who becomes the Origami Killer. In the first chronicle you play as Madison Paige as she tracks down another serial killer that was around before the Origami Killer.

If you are looking for something with a deliberate pace, and an adult theme, I would try Heavy Rain.


Keep in mind though, this is not your typical game. Download the demo first, and you will see what I mean. every choice has a consequence in this game

Or if you want non stop ballz out action, just wait until 3/16 and get God of War III

Those of you that have PS3; is this better than DMC series(which IMO are the best Hack N Slash games evah)?

I was a hardcore fan of DMC and don't think GOW3 can overtake its place in PS history. But nevertheless I will be checking out this new edition of GOW.

Dante rocker fan here, but fuck yeah, nothing come close to the epicness of Kratos. And its INSANE to watch Serge's GOD III clip, its like he wasnt awesome enough, they made it 3 times more ridicolous
