That's exactly the perception of american regulation that I have. Is the real idea behind capitalism to have everything privately owned and operated purely for profit regulated by an invisible force that will somehow balance out all transactions over time? Is it somehow deluded to think that this system 'for profit' is not necessarily best suited to ensure the well being of the citizens?

I'm legit trying to re-create the constructive debate that was in here but you have to accept that other people, namely those that invent socialism and communism, view in a different light than you do and that the role of the government as' guarantor of physical security' is part of outdated politics. Healthcare here is completely different to France, those guys take the piss with socialised healthcare.
Taxes here are different to those in England or Sweden
Education and Education funding here is different to that in the UK and every other EU country.


They are archaic simply because those sorts of countries existed in the past but don't any more, hence, outdated.

I don't pay attention to people who think the government, this government, can solve any issues. The Europeans love to stand around claiming how great their economy is when they can't even control the valuation of their own currency, that's a laugh. Plus they don't understand why that's a bad thing.

The funny thing about these "let the government pay for it!" folks is that they have no real plan to actually pay for it. The Europeans sit around thinking that every single economy is the same because they are addicted to their goddamn flawed shite currency that everyone has.

The people pay it with higher taxes.
