I wasn't saying what you are talking about is communism! I was saying that in principle communism is excellent in practice its a fail. You can say capitalism is a failure but the US is still the biggest economy and beat country in the world. This is why people move here and not to europe to make a living.

I would disagree strongly with this, USA is not the best country in the world, atlhough most of its citizens think it is.

And it got this through market interference and geopolitical bullying and the EU27 has a bigger economic base built out of Social Capitalism :blah:

USA the best? I would completely disagree.

I completely agree with your disagreement.

Don't get me wrong I don't believe the quality of life here is the best could it be better yes, but the opportunity that exists in this country is second to none. No one has a better chance from nothing to something anywhere else on the planet no matter what the numbers show

I disagree here as well. What are the chances of someone without any money going to a decent college? Getting the money to pay for it? Making a better future for themselves? Compared to European countries where the Universities are free and you can get money from the government either non returnable or as a loan (or both) to pay for your living expenses.

Cheese your video isn't telling me anything I do not already know. I was against raising the debt ceiling! I want dramatic cuts in all entitlement programs! Its people like irish zebra who talk if the need for social programs like nationalized health care etc etc. The US can not afford those entitlements and especially can not afford giving free rides to illegals

Who says anything about illegals? Thats not the issue, Illegal immigrants dont have all the rights that citizens have anywhere, so national health care wouldnt be about them.

If you cant afford it then why not raise the taxes? But no, thats a big no no in the use, because everybody thinks only about themselves, there is no collective feeling of solidarity in society.

When a bunch of American students and professors were here last month (in Sweden) they all liked the Swedish system, free education, free health care, unemployment benefits, but nobody wants to pay the taxes to make that possible. TBH I'd choose living in Sweden over the US every day of the week and pay the higher taxes, because I'd have a much, much higher quality of living, including a 40-hour work week and 25 days of vacation.

Everyone in my family went to college and we came from nothing so yea I do believe its possible.

I love that you americans think socialism and communism is the same thing. Soviet wasn't communism, they tried to establish communism but never succeeded because it's pretty much impossible. Why do you always use those words to describe the same thing? It seems like you look at it as there are two options. Either you take care of yourself and fuck the rest Or you pay for eeeeeveryoooooneeee.

I don't understand why it has to be either or, why can't you take care of yourself, pay a higher fee of taxes and by that giving help to others AND getting help from others as well. I'm not talking about 50 percent of your income, I'm from Sweden and pay 30 percent more or less.

Just because you're not starving it doesn't mean the system is working. Why are you even flaming socialism and communism? Kill your delusion about free market instead. Free markets has never existed and never will, I've said this before and I'm saying it again. Even some of the american economy researchers are starting to realize this even though we in Sweden told you this forty years ago. This delusion is what's killing the american dream.

Why am I trying. Convincing an american to help others? Jeez, I'm out. Go bomb some country you haven't already destroyed, there ought to be at least one or two left in the world.

That what government is for.
The government is for protection of its citizenry thats it not to be involved in every aspect of a citizens life. You guys seem to not realize that the more you give to the government the less freedoms you have. why is it that every european wants to be babied and cared for and not make it themselves?

That's the 15th Century, this is the 21st century.

Probably because we invented liberal democracy, contemporary statecraft, social theory and have the finest examples of how to run a country in the Nordic Countries.

Its hilarious how you believe anyone which has a differing opinion of his to run a government is automatically archaic. Your ideas and the implementation of them are the reason we have a global financial crisis and massive unemployment. Your entitlement mentality is what has made humanity soft and needy. People who can no longer help themselves and not only rely on the government to survive but demand and expect things that do not belong to them.

It's funny how Europeans always want to get into a dick measuring contest with us. Obviously they have an inferiority complex.

Zlatan, what the fuck do you know about economics?

Yeah Andrea! Tell these fools. Entitlements are the cause of most of the world financial woes. I can't wait til we get rid of medicare, oil and corn subsidies, and maternity leave. Time to tell these leechfucks where to go.

Could you imagine if their were no subsidies !!! The prices of actual healthy food would drop , there wouldn't be shortages etc its unbelievable to me that people think telling a farmer what to grow is better than letting the market regulate what needs to be grown!

It is true that prices are naturally pushed higher with government involvement in anything.

I don't pay attention to people who think the government, this government, can solve any issues. The Europeans love to stand around claiming how great their economy is when they can't even control the valuation of their own currency, that's a laugh. Plus they don't understand why that's a bad thing.

The funny thing about these "let the government pay for it!" folks is that they have no real plan to actually pay for it. The Europeans sit around thinking that every single economy is the same because they are addicted to their goddamn flawed shite currency that everyone has.

That's a truthful assessment. All these euro nations bloviate about their short work weeks and all encompassing government all the while, not seeing that its unsustainable !
