Here's something you can think of for a while, the global financial crisis has affected the price of steel and building in general and our management are building the stadium which means they are taking advantage of the global crisis to minimize the stadium cost.
Thats smart indeed, due to the general crisis the investments have been generally halted and the salaries of the builders, architects and constructive materials have been reduced, in a desperate effort to reduce the costs and attract the interest of the clients, who are afraid to invest anymore. Romania and many of my friends, who happen to have business on the field, are particularly affected by this crisis. They all agree that is the best moment for the ones who have the cash, to invest and build on a cheap.
I am not sure if the situation is similar in Italy, but the Italian businessmen i know, seem to be affected as well. So it has to be true at some extend even there.

If this was planned, our board is really worthy of full credit for that.
The stadium is a huge investment and its effects will greatly affect us in the long run!!

If i was a pessimist, i would say thats its not them, they are too incompetent to think of that, even you would have done a far greater job if you where at the place, because that actually a good idea. It was probably Moggi or someone else who hinted them, because they would never have thought of this by themselves,
but i wont...:angel:

Hitting major resistance in the Dow, sold off today before the weekend. This has been an absurd bear market rally.

The lines I've drawn act as major support and resistance levels, making it somewhat difficult for the market to break through either way.

The main thing I would like to know about all this is-

Were the people high up in big companies:

1. stupider than one would like to think and not see this crisis coming;

or 2. aware of what was going on and just hoping it wouldn't all go tits up on their watch?

They knew the credit default swap mess was always going to blow up. Perhaps not to these proportions, but they knew it would eventually collapse.

    One month ago media said that this crisis will avoid Serbia. :oops: What even worse is that some people actually believed it.

    But yesterday they said that whole country will go bankrupt in July this year.They also said that it will take at least one and a half year to feel some little chances in the US so it will take another 2 years so we could feel something different here.

    I'm staying at Uni for another year because I don't see the point in going into the job market this summer.

    Hopefully things won't be quite so bad in another year.
