We were all over the place defensively and were lucky that Leipzig were very wasteful.
While it is obviously a major blow, I don't think we can read too much into last night.

We were playing with 10 men for the majority of the second half. Most of the chances Leipzig had were down the right where we had an out of position McKennie at RB and where Leipzig targeted us with the extra player.

We need to trust Motta to find a solution. Kalulu's form in particular and Gatti have been encouraging. But it probably means we will see more of Savona which holds us back offensively. Although behind Conceicao it could balance out down the right.

My big worries are Kalulu's injury history and how effective Bremer was at tidying up when the lost the ball and were hit on the break.

We conceded a lot of chances which is unlike Juve but this isn’t unlike other top clubs. Barca/Madrid rely quite a bit on Ter Stegen/Courtois to pull off crazy saves, and bank on their expensive forwards to create more chances and having better chance conversion than opponents

those clubs are a reflection of the modern game. It’s why I’d never invest 70M in a CB, no matter how good the player is. The value just isn’t there. We’re not gonna replace Bremer, there’s no one close to his level on the squad, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the club can’t win without him, especially with how Motta plays. I don’t think it was bullshit when it was reported he chose Koopmeiners over Calafiori. He knows the value is in the offensive phase.

In the best case scenario, #Bremer could be back on the pitch in the last rounds of Serie A.

Even if he's looking fit by then I'd rather he take the extra couple of weeks off, unless its a 20 minute cameo in the last game before we lift the trophy.

What a tough break seeing his season is over. Didn't even read how serious until today. And the clown announcer on Paramount said Bremer was staying on the ground that long because felt embarrassed getiing knock over that easily.
