Looks like he might be out for a while regardless of what the tests will eventually reveal but hopefully it’s nothing to do with ACL or anything of that sorts

As someone who had done their ACL, this is 99% ACL + meniscus. It’s always an odd step like that when you bring your whole weight to the ligament and the muscle is not prepared to protect it. Meniscus is also probably done along the ACL as it is in 90% of the cases.
I am seriously hope to be wrong as the season will take a massive turn for the worse and we just started playing something resembling football.

I also tore ACL this January, and oddly no damage to the meniscus.

Bremer is an irreplaceable player, but I trust Gatti and Kalulu. The depth takes a massive hit though, Danilo is the first backup. Motta views Cabal as a CB so it would open up minutes for him, but they would need to bring in another CB in January because no one at next gen is ready except maybe pedro Felipe, and I wouldn’t bet on that either (he’s also currently injured)
