Is he?

He is inconsistent, his technique is not reliable. He mixes neat first touches with volleyball touches. He tries to play simple possession but still mixes with flukes that look like brain farts every now and then. I think I wrote here a year ago that his technique has improved, and compared to when he came here it has improved immensely. When he arrived he was a ticking bomb when in possession. That is no longer the case, but his technique can still be limited and inconsistent. The latter will and have issued problems already. The former is no issue for me.

How is he not playing in Brazil team first squad is beyond me
I mean i get he didn't get across the Europe recognition as we didn't play CL, but NT coach should see how good he is. He is probably the best pure defender in the world after Rudiger.

The reason I was so hot for Calafiori is it really seemed like adding him would give us one of the best CB pairings in world football. Bremer is absolutely in the top tier with those two
