So appears he's getting 1M euro more per year. Giuntoli had to, enough players with issues don't want to add another key one to the mess. Bremer is like the GK in front of the GK. :vidal:

Taken from the Scanavino interview from today:

In short, being competitive to win remains our goal, our ambition. We must pursue it on a path more attentive to costs. But, for example: we didn’t sell Bremer, instead we renewed his contract. We had very interesting offers from an economic point of view, but the sale, although profitable, would have weakened us, so we said no. We take competitiveness seriously; it’s not just a word to flaunt.”

Interesting logic that seems to not apply in Chiesa’s case for example, despite us looking crippled on the wings without him and potentially losing him for very cheap they do not consider him worth a renewal despite probably making more sense from an economic point of view to keep him as if he has a good season we can maximize his sell later.

It's all haphazardly being put together based on nothing other than gut feeling by Jungtoli.

I know we could get a lot of money from him in the future but... Bremer is an absolute beast. He is everywhere and sweeping up all problems. Feels like we are playing a back three with him on the field. Someone f**ks up and Bremer has somehow figured out where to be before it occurred. He is technically limited and not particularly tall but wow, he is one of my favorite players atm. I basically only watch Juve so I am obviously biased, however, I rate him as the best CB in the world right now, with emphasis put on reliability. Wouldn't swap him for anyone else.
