According to transfermarkt.com he #5 CB in worth, but I never saw him play. Since he is not the longest, does he have more familiarities to Cannavaro? Wat kind of CB is he actually?
Basically an effect of converting RB to RCB, fast and agile guy, good on the ball but not particulary strong. He is a good player, but Cannavaro is so far the only case when a small defender really made it at the top, nowadays is even worse with all the big ass CFs. Could you imagine Kounde against Haaland?
He wins many duels, both in air and on the ground, but imo thats La Liga, where they play more technically, somehow i cant see him doing the same in our league or EPL.

edit: there is of course Alaba and Puyol also, but I find both of them more athletic players than Jules.

Danilo is the most hardworking and consistent player in our team.
Joking about the lolzillian party monster stereotype can be funny but it’s far from being the norm these days. Assholes like Neymar are the exception. The great majority of not only Brazilians but South Americans we had have been very professional here. Bremer seems to be too.

I still have dreams about Diego and what could've been...

These behind the scenes videos when the player meets management/coaches is so awkward like will one of these dorks lighten the mood a little, they're just standing there looking at each other.

In 2018, Torino managed to complete the signature of a 21-year-old defender from Brazil who was relatively unknown on Italian soil.
Nonetheless, former Granata director Gianluca Petrachi had no doubts at all regarding the young man’s ability to reach the highest levels.
Four years later, Lega Serie A crowned Gleison Bremer as the best defender in the league on the back of a stellar 2021/22 campaign, beating the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Milan Skriniar and Fikayo Tomori to the honor.
On Wednesday, Juventus announced the capture of the now 25-year-old centre back after reaching an agreement with their crosstown rivals.
Petrachi recounts the story of how he discovered Bremer at a time when he was still a raw talent at Atletico Mineiro.
“I personally went to South America to scout the profiles that we considered most interesting,” said the former Torino and Roma sporting director in an interview with
Tuttosport via ilBianconero.
“It happened with Bremer as it did with Bruno Peres, just to give you another example.
“As the days went by, I focused more on Bremer who was a raw talent at the time but I had sensed enormous growth margins.”
The 53-year describes the new Juventus signing as a great professional, and says that he reminded him of Giorgio Chiellini due to his warrior spirit.
Since Bremer has effectively replaced Matthijs de Ligt at Juventus, the comparison between the two defenders is inevitable. But for Petrachi, the choice is an easy one.
“Maybe I don’t understand anything about football, but if I have to give my own opinion.
“Gleison is stronger than De Ligt. Much stronger. So the answer is simple. The Juventus defense gains from this change.”

That was one of the least awkward ones I've seen. Bremer clearly nervous around all these new people in a new place, but the other Brazilians and Cuadrado making an effort to make him feel at home.

It was sort of awkward that he was saying hello during rundown time but I guess to professional footballers that's as normal as reading the Tuz is it us.

We need a Bremer-esque signing in midfield too

An absolute tank that can cover for our creative/lazy midfielders
DM, looks like Bremer, similar age, same Brazilian, almost the same rated transfer value
Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa . If they cut the same style of hair and facial hair, and use numbers like 6 and 9. Opponents will have a hard time to distinct them

They struck gold this time as they rarely shop in Brazil. Only other player they've bought was Lyanco, and he turned out ok. I guess you can say the same for Bruno Peres.
