I'll have to agree with him. Milito scored twice in the CL final and had many other clutch goals. He did arguably have a better season.

Messi scored a shitload but they didn't amount to much in the long run.
It's a her:) and don't mind Fred, He's an Arsenal fan, they are kinda mental so ive heared ;)

Messi scoring 2 or 3 against mediocre Liga sides doesn't interest me, did he have a good CL? I can't remember, certainly didn't have a good WC.

Sneijder not being among top three is beyond me. He actually deserves it more than anyone else.
I am far from a fan of Inter. But I think it's criminal that he didn't even make the top 3. I also think its criminal that Milito didn't even make the running, but I think the FIFA voters apparently only get ESPN2 coverage and can only judge from the teams they air on TV. :pado:

Milito did have a better season, had a lot to do with Inter winning Scudetto and the CL last season. Two goals in the CL final as well as many other crucial goals throughout the season must have been enough to win him a spot among top three. Messi didn't even have such a better season than Ronaldo if we are to only take La Liga games into consideration.

Only Xavi could match his wonderful season both with Inter and his national team. Can't believe they didn't even rate him among the top three.

I hope Xavi wins it. He is the only player among the three who deserves to be there.

Iniesta? It's like nominating Materazzi for the best player of the year 2006.
