I think the Fabregas statement was somehow normal. Any player is free to make any wish concerning what player he'd like to play with or which player he'd love to sign etc..
Yes, but it doesn't make it professional to do such a thing, nor in the manner and the amount of times he did.

They're colleges in the Spanish NT, they're good friends if not more, they want to play all together in the same team, I wouldn't say it's unprofessional thing, probably wasn't a good timing to say such a thing but I do understand Xavi when he says he would like to have Fabregas in Barcelona.

We've given up on the idea of him arriving now, but maybe he'll come in January when Arsenal are out of the Premier League title race,"

"Their team are just not competitive."

"Arsenal are wrong to have forced him to remain there, they can't just hold him against his will,".

    Fuck Xavi

    What's wrong with his statement?

Maybe he'll come in January when Arsenal are out of the race? Arsenal were never in the race since Henry-Bergkamp days.

Arsenal aren't competitive? I think you agree with him more than anyone else.

Arsenal are wrong to have forced him? Yes, they are.

    Forza XAVI !!!

"Arsenal only really have him on loan for a year"

Quite disrespectful if you ask me.

We were in the race till mid April last season, we were only a couple of points behind Chelsea.

We were top of the league for most of the season in 2008 too. Saying we haven't won shit for a long time is true, saying we haven't been in the race since 5 years is wrong. In all cases it was an unprofessional thing to say by Xavi

We were in the race too after Calciopoli too 06-07, 07-08, but we were never really going to win a thing.

Same goes with Arsenal. Therefore what Xavi said was spot on.

Anyway, I understand you, I can understand an Arsenal fan, I would have the same reaction as yours had he said the same towards us.
