I don't dislike Messi, he's just slightly frustating, I'm honest about it. He was enjoyable before the media hype around him in 2009, after the WC he has had a nonexistend vision for his unmarked teammates, dribbling past defenders and taking shots while being surrounded by defenders instead of passing it towards an unmarked teammate doesn't sound like Ballon d'Or material for me. Look at the Real and Copenhagen games, those are two great examples, I'm not labeling him based on those two (recent) matches, but if he continues with this trend, I think some people start disliking him. The one's who disliked CR always have something to say about his behaviour, well Messi's behaviour these days with his selfishness and greedy scorer isn't that different from CR's arrogance.

I saw some pieces of the game, was making some schoolwork at the same time but he did indeed gave a pass to Villa but my caught him most of the times when he didn't pass to his teammates. He has the most assists between his teammates. I get your point but they rely on him to score now, and if you want to create a monster then it comes with some cons as well. Hes no longer only a winger or a supplier, the burden is on him now especially with Etoo gone.

And for the Ballon d'or, I agree with rab. Xavi should get it. Sneider has not been as consistent over the entire year imo (but hes not even there) and between the three Xavi has been out of this world.

I'm simply going with the circulating rumors that it's already known how Iniesta is the winner. Xavi second, Messi third. I have no idea how much truth there is to it, but I'll take it.
Also, there is Gazzetta's edition from the day before announcing the shortlist of three. To everyone's surprise they said how Sneijder didn't make the top 3 and how Iniesta is the winner.

Soon we will see if all this is just a joke or it will be proven that FIFA is the joke.
