How he will cause problems in the dressing room? The move to Juve is his biggest in his career, he is being brought as the ultimate star, the chose one, the one that will save all Juve's problems. I don't see him anything close to this which will cause frustration and consequently failure. But being the prodigy he was told to be he will want to start ahead of other thus causing problems.

These are my speculations, you may or may not agree with them.
the good news is that you are usually wrong in your speculations.

or maybe it being the biggest move of his carrer, and him being brought in as the ultimate star will make him step up his game and turn into a mature leader for this team. which in turn would lead the other players to up their morale and perform behind this new enigmatic figure.

This star signing shit is pissing me off.

We obviously tried to sign Aguero (who knows what will happen with that). We were linked with Nani, etc. I guess none of those stars wanted us, or we were outmuscled in the transfer market.

Why are you putting this star signing shit on Rossi?

I don't see him having such a characteristic, move like someone who disappears when responsibility calls.

Because we were promised stars, stars usually cost a lot, Rossi will cost a lot.

We were promised stars but we got outbid in the market.

I'm sure if we had the chance to sign Aguero we would, but we go to the next best thing available.

Aguero & Tevez are financially out of reach.
Higauin & Benzema seem to be staying at RM.
Hazard & Pastore seem to be going at the same price as Aguero.

Of course we'll be outbid when we offer so little. The amount Marotta presented to Atletico was a joke.

And how was that supposed to cheer me up?
Its not meant to cheer you up, its trying to explain why we shouldnt bitch about the mercato. complain about barcelona's dept and still able to spend large on transfers or manshit who got a sjeik as owner so they now totally inflate the market instead.
i'll be with you on that one

The big problem here is that Marotta was told to be backed with cash for 2 stars, he made the crucial mistake of telling in the press about 2 WC players.

then, we got like half of what he was promised, and the big spenders outbid us on most of our targets. cant blame marotta for not having the funds for signing and paying aguero.

Look what Joe said, and just forget the "star signing" crap. look at the level of talent our starting 11 has, and then look at how much the linked players can provide an upgrade.

licht brings juve mentality and a fantastic upgrade for rightback. he also was the best rightback on the market we could realistically get.
Ziegler is a nice upgrade for what we got on the left, is decent and wont brainfart like grosso, and he was free.
Pirlo offers expirience and alot of possible creativity for our midfield, and is just better then aqua, who was not bad, but has 0 leadership while pirlo has. they also last as long in a game.
Vidal could come, a player so impressive munchen is pushing for him, luckely leverkusen will only sell abroad. his mentality and skill will make him top 3 CM in serie A. probably next signing after Rossi, and he'll be very nice
Rossi, the best creative forward we can get, and a massive upgrade overall in the attack. offcourse quag was nice, but his stats at villareal dont lie, and he was one of the main reasons why they got 4th.

oh we are doing just fine

His wages were so high, that the budget couldnt afford a higher transfer fee. thanks to italian tax
offcourse manchester-we inflate everything and then some-city can match that

also, we never got a personal deal with the player because of that wage issue. the deal was alot less close then the "guru's" and newspapers were suggesting

32M + Tiago? That doesn't sound like a joke to me. That's about a value of 35M give or take.

Aguero's release clause is 45M. Marotta went in with a lower offer to negotiate a better price.

With that offer maybe they could have met in the middle with lets say 35-37M + Tiago. Unfortunately Manchester City completely ass-raped us, and reportdely offered the clause. If Aguero isn't keen on us, there's no chance of winning against City.

Hi Guy's. We sign should Thomas Muller of Bayern, cause he is going to be a world class player, i think he has more potential than Grossi, and is proven at a big club with lots of competition. Thanks.

Difference between Diego and Rossi is, Rossi will have Krasic and probably another winger like Bastos backing him up in attack unless he plays on the left himself, Diego had to do a lot of the work himself

Well, thats basically what happens with a trequartista doesnt it ?

but i think we all saw diego didnt fulfill the potential we tought he would have.

Rossi would fit much better in the creative del piero role.

I do hope we manage to get nice deals on rossi and vidal so we can try to get a better leftwinger then bastos
