I wanted world class players too and if I'm gonna be honest with you, Aguero is a top player but I don't think he'll win us the title alone, he's not that kinda player.. he failed with Argentina with a better squad, and even though he scored 20 goals ( most of them by the end of the season ) he had a miserable season with his club by their standards.

I was really excited when we got the cash injection but that's the best we could do I guess ? We only have ourselves to blame. And by that I mean blame Juve's management.

If we can Rossi and Bastos that would be a positive mercato and will keep me momentarily satisfied

Nah, we'll be behind Inter and Milan by a mile.

Despite these three being good players, in reality (at least on paper) they won't be big improvements over what we had last year.

Bastos instead of Marchisio (LW)
Vidal instead of Melo

That's really not some big improvement to make a 7th placed team a title challenger. It's everyone's guess if Pirlo will be back in form and be an improvement over Aquilani while Ziegler isn't some big improvement over DC and Grosso. Perhaps the biggest difference is our RB.

The changes and better coaching (will we have better coaching?) might make us a serious challenger for the 3rd place, but that's about it. We'll need more in addition to Rossi, Bastos and Vidal. Much much more.

I like your honesty. I watch the Bundesliga regularly so trust me when I tell you, Vidal will be a great addition to our midfield and squad as a whole. First, he wont ever look lazy, he's very passionate but in a less stupid way than Melo lol he reminds me a lot of Kuyt of Liverpool and Olic, he pops up everywhere in defense and attack and always looks dangerous. Bayern's interest alone should confirm his status. He was easily Leverkusen's best player and they finished 2nd above Bayern.

I hope selling crazy Melo is not an option for us. He played really well and turned me from a semi-hater to a fan.

What's great about Vidal is that he can play any role in midfield. If we gonna play 4 2 4 It's better to have Vidal than Melo imo, creatively he's better. But you're right we'll lack Melo's crazy tackles lol

Don't worry about Conte, if you supported Juve back then you know he's cool. Milan won the league with an unproven coach who never won anything with anyone. It's a gamble, but Conte knows his shit and wont play players out of position and troll us with 442's.
