Would be pretty funny watching we failing on Rossi too and the guys who labelled him as "average", "shit", "worse than Quaglia, worse than Vucinic, worse than *insert name*" and other things claiming for him when they realize we'd be signing someone like Gilardino.

Personally I don't think we need another striker (it doesn't matter, Marotta "thinks" otherwise), but if we're really getting one then I don't see much better options than Rossi. Aguero, Benzema and Higuain would be excluded ofc.

Well, actually I see a cheaper and wiser option than Rossi. His name is something -vinco. Best scenario for me. :)

And replace him with whoever signs the most foreign players. I don't care how successful he is or not. Doesn't Catania have like 90% Argentinians? Please sign their sporting director.
That's just stupid.

We can always sign Rossi next summer. He should stay and play CL with Villarreal this year. This summer is a summer which will probably decide our near future (4-5 years). No mistakes are allowed and making Rossi the top signing IS a mistake.
We can bring him next year when DP retires.
I like this plan, if we even need him by then (assuming we bought Aguero and sold off the dead weight).

Just swap Amauri for Cassano, if Milan are still interested, and spend the Rossi money on Cissokho and Subotic/Howedes and win the fucking scudetto already.

With all due respect, the WC is a bullshit argument Alen. Even Lippi said he still regrets not including Rossi to the squad.

But yes, El Kun is a better player than Rossi, and I've been a Azzurri fan for a long time and I agree the quality of Italian players have dropped like fuck, we shouldn't ATM sign any other Italian international than Cassano or Balotelli, which we won't anyways.
Lippi would say anything to underrate Cassano.

I am really happy to see someone else who also sees Grossi as another Gilardino.

What is a good reason to dislike him in your opinion?
I can't think of any reason... he's proven himself a fine striker on the field, he gives me no reason to believe he is not a good person to represent the club off of the field.....

I guess people either hate him because he was born in America yet chose to play for Italy or because he is not Aguero.

Can I dislike him for the way he looks?
Can I dislike him for his style of play?
Can I dislike him because I don't rate him?
Can I dislike him because he reminds of Gilardino?
