jovetic is coming back from a knee explosion and would still cost 20+

kolarov 1. isn't coming
2. isn't cheaper than 18+

but I would say pre-injury Jovetic is about the same class as Rossi to me.
Yeah, I don't think Jovetic would be easy to get. Just wanted to say that I want him, oh, so bad.

Kolarov could be a bargain since Man City is retarded and now want Clichy apparently.

I'd love Kolarov, was hoping Juve would try to sign him before Sheikh City overpayed for him.

Crazy to think of Lazio's full backs the last like 2-3 years. De Silvestri, Behrami, Kolarov, Lichsteiner, Radu has played out left and now Konko.

It doesn't mean shit if they can't play football, dude. Look at Pepe, the wonderful Azzurri winger we are graced to have on our roster. This guy hasn't done anything and wouldn't BE anything if folks wouldn't use the same excuse you're purporting. He wouldn't be HERE, at Juventus, right now.

Your mentality is the EXACT SAME SHIT that Marotta and company adore and I don't take this crap anymore. If you want to sign Rossi, fine, argue his footballing talent. Don't purport this bullshit about him being "Italian" because he himself admitted HE DOES NOT FEEL ITALIAN OFF THE PITCH AT ALL.

Of course is doesn't mean anything if they can't play football...

I don't see where I have made that an issue. Aguero can play football, Rossi can play football. I would prefer we sign Aguero over Rossi, my entire point is that Rossi is likely to settle faster than Aguero.

We all know Rossi is a great forward, his nationality has little to do with it outside of the fact that he speaks the language and is already well known to current Juve players due to his regular time with the Azzurri. I think these things help him settle into the team faster than, say, Aguero. Strictly my opinion.

my entire point is that Rossi is likely to settle faster than Aguero.
But the only basis you have in saying that is because Rossi is supposedly "Italian" while Aguero is a "foreigner". You throw away all personal conflicts that are possible within the squad, then you say the guy is better suited for us just because he has a certain nationality.

In other words, your point is worth as much as the toilet paper you wipe your ass with in the many bars you frequent.

Sorry, Vinny. You are full of bullshit. You have nothing to base your bullshit on apart from assuming the player will get along better because he's Italian while in fact... HE ADMITS HE'S NOT FUCKING ITALIAN!

Rossi for 25-30 mln

or

Vuci or Berba for 14-18 mln?
If they are same price I'll choose Rossi, solely for the age difference between him and Berbatov. If he's 10-15m eur more expensive, then I'll surely choose Berbatov or Vucinic ahead of Rossi.
Berbatov and Vucinic are more talented than Rossi, but they have no space for growth, which Rossi has. If the difference between buying Rossi for 25 or Berbatov for 15 is Arturo Vidal, then it's a no brainer.
Vidal+Berbatov >>>>>>>Rossi.

If it's the very last day on the mercato and we have 25m eur to splash, which we won't have next summer if we don't use them at the same moment, then I'll choose Rossi, solely for his age, as said.

Juve good enough for Rossi

The agent of Italy and Villarreal ace Giuseppe Rossi has refused to rule out the possibility of a switch to Juventus.

Although Federico Pastorello concedes that there has been no offer from the Turin giants, Juve would appeal to the striker.

“Juventus are a top club for their history, for the people who run it and for their future ambitions,” the representative told Tuttosport.

“It’s clear that their present penalises them seeing as they won’t be playing in Europe next season. But their appeal remains intact.

“Let’s say they are like a beautiful woman who just needs to go to the hairdresser…

“It’s a possible avenue and the directors are keeping themselves informed. We are talking about an Italian player who reminds people a little of Alessandro Del Piero.

“Let’s just wait and see how things develop, even if I have to admit that there has been nothing official from Juventus.”

Barcelona were considered as front runners for the former Parma player this summer, but they’ve now switched their attention to Alexis Sanchez of Udinese.

“At the end of the season I was contacted by Barcelona, but then the talks slowed down,” added Pastorello.

“The important thing for Rossi is to go to a top club that would welcome him. If it’s not a top club then he’ll stay at Villarreal.

“Giuseppe wants to evaluate everything carefully, he knows that a decision on where he plays next year is a fundamental one for his career.”

Man, people need to get these Del Piero comparisons out of their heads. Neither Aguero nor Rossi are going to be Del Piero. Let's please get that out of our systems.
