So the questions are:
- Are you willing to sacrifice the other parts of the team in order to pay 35-40 million for Aguero?
- Are you willing to splash 25-30m eur for Rossi instead of strengthening the defense or midfield with these money?

No
No

Aguero will be a good purchase for the reported price only if we strengthen the rest of the team as well, considering the influx of fresh capital it is a reasonable assumption we will strengthen other areas as well. Rossi while the inferior player (not by much) would be the better choice if the difference in price (~15mil€) means the difference between getting a decent DM, that is crucial for Conte's system or not.

I have always complained about our board trying to build an "Ital-juve" with those average at best Italian players while not considering the likes of Cassano, Balotelli or Rossi.
That's the main issue, and it's even more annoying when we could have gone for Cassano last winter, but decided against it.

That's why I said earlier that I'd rather not buy anyone for the attack if we can't buy Aguero (well, unless an opportunity for another WC player presents).

I was pro-Vucinic a lot, as I'd have been pro-Rossi, before we decided to pay for Matri and Quag. After we bought those two, there is no point in buying Vucinic or Rossi (unless you consider them world class players).

Donovan is a better player than Pepe. So if he was Italian, he could very well be at Juve and all of you Azzurri fans would adore him. But since he's not, he's just some useless American player.

Obviously this sort of bias exists. If you can't see that, then you are part of the problem.
Adore him like we adore Pepe?

Would he be at Juve if he was Italian? Maybe but it doesn't matter because I'm not talking about how Marotta thinks. What about you? Do you consider him good enough to play at Juve?

If Pepe and Martinez are at Juve, absolutely. He's better than those two. I think Donovan disappears when the heat is on at times, but he's better than some of the clowns we have on this team. But since he's American, Marotta would never look at him. That's a poblem.

OR "for deciding to play for a team he legally had the right to" :p

I actually never wanted us to spend big on attack this year especially after finalizing Quag and Mtari's deals. It's apparently bound to happen though. Aguero? I'll be happy like mad if he comes, Rossi? I'd love to have him here too. I rate him and I believe he is a very good player. If for this, I'm an Azzurri fan who is overrating Rossi well I think there is not much to discuss over this anymore.
Andy actually hates me for not watching enough US games :p i am more of a club football guy, so no that too is irrelevant to me. And i ll raise you another one, i dont think you can be a juve fan and not have some italy bias, as in wanting DP to score the winning gol of a WC final. BUT to constantly talk about a good player(and there are 100s of them) for the last 4 years just because hes italian is annoying.

No ifs, no buts. No "Azzurri fan" here wants Pepe and Martinez at Juve. Does your bias work conditionally Andy? Do you think Donovan is good enough to play at Juve? [Don't make it like: "Oh Motta plays at Juve so why not Cassani"].

milan would never sell him to us, plus theres the whole DP issue :p
Well, you asked, and it's not like we stand a chance to buy many World Class strikers. :D

The only realistic option (bar Aguero) who is world class is Higuain and yes, I'd accept paying big money for him even at the risk of not strengthening enough some other areas.

Noone did. All of these sorts of talks emerge when an unfair biased opinion becomes epidemic. When I hear people saying that Rossi is garbage, I will surely say "no, I have seen him play and he is a very good player", then I'm labeled an Azzurri fan for saying that. It makes me radical hence the avatar :D

Not start, certainly. As a backup he would be very useful. He can play both wings and absolutely add to our play.
