Is it actually possible to buy top players (the popular kind we are looking at) without overpaying anymore? I don't think it is. Which is why I hope for but don't expect any of them. I just don't see Marotta doing it. Not that I see not overpaying as a criticism, but are we really going to go for the €10m - €15m players who could be €30m+ players in a couple of seasons? I suppose value is determined by success, players aren't increasing in value and standing in poor sides.

The post after yours reminded me of Luis Suárez.

Henderson I think. I've no idea who he is. I've never seen him play.

Man Utd also paid £16M for someone I've never heard of today.
:sergio:
Watch some premier league

Man UTD - Phil Jones, promising CD/CDM
And the liverpool lad is decent form the few games I seen him. I think he was a MAn Utd youth product

    Gianluca Di Marzio's words:

"Barcelona and Rossi have already made an agreement. This weekend Barca will meet Villareal to finalize the deal"

    Apparently Bojan rejected Udinese.

yeah but both henderson and jones are not even close to the 15/20 mill bracket Jees if giovinco was english and played in the epl he would go for 40 mill judging their current rate of inflation, its disgusting. Want cheaper and good players? my advice to marotta is scout france!

I don't like him, don't really rate him in the same bracket as the players I just mentioned, and have a feeling he will fail here. He isn't a game changer, and definitely not a "champion."
