How much was Villarreal successful? Was Rossi their way into the American market?
More like Altidore but he never played. Villareal is too small of a club.

A lot of Italian-Americans who never watched Villareal will start watching Rossi. This could catch on to other parts of the country.

It's not a given, but a possibility. Juve have been playing like a provincial club recently.

You guys are sick. I've never seen such a hate even in Amauri thread. You can go ahead with pathetic +rep's for "fuck Rossi" or just read this:

calciomercato.com:
If Giuseppe Rossi won't leave Villarreal for joining Juventus, Bianconeri are ready to submit Lazio an offer for purchasing Argentinian forward Mauro Matias Zarate (24).

Tuttosport:
Rossi o Vucinic?

If that's what you want for Juve then fuck you, not Rossi. Welcome in reality, fearless mercato fappers. Who else would you want here? Berbatov? Adebayor? Floro Flores? Gilardino maybe? Sanchez is already out and Tevez is psycho so save your jizz. Everyone would want Aguero here, but if he's out of reach then we should get Rossi, it's out of question. And don't even think about calling me a Rossi fan-boy, I rate him just a bit higher than Matri & Quag, but still higher. I'm just sick of ending 7th.

And if it happens, I shall rejoice. It will be a badge of honor not supporting this traitor in my favorite club team for purpose of supporting my nation. Country over club is my persuasion, and if that means hating a Juventus player, I'm all game. I'll love seeing him fail. And if one of you leeches calls me a terrible fan, that's OK, you don't support your own nation anyway. You know who you are. All of you need to get over the fact that yes, I support my country, I don't like Rossi, and never will. If you can't get that into your head, you're as useless as a monkey dancing on a razor blade.
It's clear and you have my blessing. But how would you expect or demand hating Rossi from non-US members? Why should I care if he "betrayed" you or not? I don't give a f*ck about your national team and your extreme-righteous prejudices. Just as I don't care if Klose or Podolski play for Germany, it's their choice. Save your hate for more important things, it's just a football.

Vucinic is better than Quag and Matri so if you rate Rossi just a bit higher than those two, you are probably rating him more or less the same as Vucinic. Why is "Rossi o Vucinic" a problem then?

And Rossi or Vucinic.....?
Mirko!
