Pretty much, yeah. We are too lenient. When you have a fucking contract, you are obliged to respect it. It's not like we are enslaving the players here. They get rewarded handsomely and have a shot at winning titles every year.
Does that work both ways when we get players that you like, and want them to come here? Because by your logic, we should only get Bosman type players

No but we had all powers in the world to block his transfer. The safest assumption is that Pogba was indifferent where to play, ManU and Raiola pushed hard, Pogba didn't care and we didn't block.
Truth lies somewhere in the middle and this is certainly closest to it. We should have tried. I like our player chooses but we should make some exceptions. Especially for a player who was given a number 10. A number 10! The guy is 23 years old, surrounded by bad advisors. I think we should have tried. If we did then fair doos but by sounds of things we haven't because when we talk about it to the media we don't send out the right signals.

Look at how United blocked De Gea's sale, or how Inter are refusing to sell Icardi. I am not saying tie him down, but give him a reason to stay. Convince him. Brand united, or Brand Madrid will be there for him in 2-3 years anyway. I mean, it would make more sense for him to move in 2018, after he actually performs in a major tournament.

I am just supremely pissed. I am too emotionally invested in this. I will probably calm down once I see the replacements, and if we make it far in the CL, and win the double again, all will be forgotten. However, I will be watching United and Pogba closely, and hoping they fail miserably, so I can rub it in my dad's face :D
Same deal. I'm disappointed that we are losing Pogba. I said it in the Pogba thread... but it's not even losing Pogba or what we paid for Higuain that bothers me... It's that we lost Vidal last year. I was pissed about that last summer... but thought, hey, this means they'll have some guarantee from Pogba that he'll stay at a minimum for 2 more years, if not 3, especially after giving him the #10...

But if he wouldn't fucking guarantee those minimum 2 years, we should never have sold Vidal, and should have sold Pogba last summer instead.

That's what pisses me off most about all of this.

Aside from that, I'm happy with how they are building this team. :p

I understand what you are saying, but as far as convincing him.

Certainly he can see the team that we have built, and that he can be a part of. Actions always speak louder than words. If that doesn't convince him, then the one thing that we can convince him on, which is the on the field product, is simply not enough for him.

Benatia > Caceres
Higuain > Morata
Pjanic > Hernanes (assuming he leaves)

Replacement midfielder(s) < Pogba

Pjaca and Gabigol (assuming he arrives) are unknown quantities, at least to me, but certainly seem to be good prospects.

All in all I think the squad will be stronger, depending on who we get to replace Pogba.

The only thing I don't like is that we have again a overhaul and will have another one next year(2 years ) when buffon and Co retire and dybala leaves
Just hope our brand continues to grow and we can have more continuity
Hate to see Pogba leaving but we have seen far more important players leave and still grow each year
Our management totally deserve some trust haven't let us down

Dybala also really likes it here, didnt give a shit about us telling barcelona to go fuck themselves with that 80mil and invites world class to turin
Zach if we actually got a 80m € offer for Dybala on the table this is what would have happened

And users would be fapping their dicks off. Because bought for 32, sold for 80. Great fucking business
Stop buying what Beppe is telling us throughout the season. 'Rejected this, rejected that'. 'Most important mercato target is to keep star players'. 'Pogba is better than 100mil'.

Rest assured that as soon summer comes and shit gets real Beppe's hand grabs that Mont Blanc of his to sign the goodbye papers. We are not a selling club but not a club that fights for its star players either (like bayern)
