So, getting a high profile dynamic/physical box to box CM who can offer technique while still play DM when Marchisio is out would be a nearly perfect replacement of Pogba.

There's still 1% of chance Pogba doesn't leave - that's if they can't agree on Raiola's fee. But I'm sure they will come to terms, one way or the other.

Also, I really don't think Zaza and Mandzukic can coexist with Higuain. One between them will leave for stg aroung 25M.

About the mid, I really want to keep Pereyra and Lemina.

So, considering Pogba wants to leave and Marotta doesn't consider his mindset well enough to remain, my perfect rest of mercato would be:

- Higuain in 90M
- Rakitic in 45M
- Bazoer in 35M
- Pjanic in 30M
- Pjaca in 23M
- Gabigol in 20M
- Lemina in 10M
- Benatia in 3M
- Alves in 0

total spent: 255M

- Pogba out 120M
- Morata out 30M
- Mandzukic/Zaza out 25M
- Sturaro out 15M
- Hernanes out 5M
- Asamoah out 10M

Total income: 205M

Total net spent: 50M (our average past years)

25 players squad:
GKs: Buffon, Neto(or Italian GK), homegrown GK
CBs: Bonucci, Chiellini, Barzagli, Benatia, Rugani
RBs: Alves, Licht
LBs: Sandro, Evra
DMs: Marchisio, Mandragora/Marrone
CMs: Pjanic, Rakitic, Khedira, Bazoer, Lemina, Pereyra
Fws: Dybala, Higuain, Pjaca, Mandzukic/Zaza, Gabigol

That would be a tremendous team. Starting CMs would be Pjanic/Rakitic.

Too soft in the middle mate. You are under rating how easily a midfield of Raktiic and Pjanic can get run over. We need a Herrera type guy to hold things together. A runner, more than a ball player.

Yea, what's more, a Rakitic and zPjanic midfield would only work if we focused on possession play, and seeing how perfectly built for the counter we are, it's just not the right fit for us st this point.

Pjanic-Marchisio-Herrera would be good. The problem though is what do we do while Marchisio is injured? Mandragora is too young, I know he's a great prospect but that could be too much pressure.

Perhaps we could try for Matic. Herrera and Matic.

Yea we are getting two players in the middle, definitely. Cannot count on Marchisio this season, even with a quicker return, he will need a lot of time to find some form. And we certainly can't count on Khedira. Man is broken.

I loved Marotta before, but man I love him this mercato.

It's like someone told him in May what a release clause was and it blew his mind.

"Wait... so you're saying I can make a bid for a player... and the other team... can't reject?!"

"For the last time... Yes, Beppe it's called a release clause..."

"Pavel... have you ever heard of a... 'release clause'?"

"Srsly Beppe? YES!"

"HOLY MARKET OPPORTUNITY!"

The Life of Beppe, reminds me of the struggles of Jesus Christ. In the beginning he was considered a pariah, one who would not conform and as a result was 'crucified' for his actions. It was only later following multiple miracles that his work was truly appreciated by the wider world, just like Jesus.

Only difference being that Jesus is a fictional character and Beppe is a real-life god walking among us.
