I'd be less annoyed if we were selling him to Barca or Madrid. Those teams usually get their players whenever they want them. But why can't we convince a player (who has 3 years remaining on his contract) to stick around for at least another season of two, and aim for the CL with us? To lose our star player to a shit Man U team who aren't even in the CL is a poor look for us and Italian football in general.
Last season I gave 7/10 cause I felt they made the most out of it. IMO Pirlo was finished, Tevez already disinterested in the final and I wouldnt want that version of him in my team either, Vidal also lost didnt have his usual impact and struggling with injuries for a good while understandable not offeting him a long contract and let him sign with bayern.
In return we also got some major promising prospect Dybala, Sandro and the excuse of transitional year.
Right now tho, Im on the edge of Cronios mode. All them shit sells, free releases, Hernanes panic buy are coming back. And if this happens, definitely there will be some generic statements in the lines, they wanted to leave, we cant compete blah, even though we most likely will continue to fail properly offload decent but unwanted players.

That's why we need to invest more on Italian talents as Italian players are the only ones who are relatively loyal to us and won't want to move abroad. The standards of Italian players right now isn't great and that's why we need to keep improving our youth policy.
Our academy needs to produce better prospects.
I'm hopeful that Mandragora can be the next Italian talent to break in our team.

It just allows players to use us as stepping stones for big money moves. We are still one of the very best teams on the pitch, but if we continue to bend over and let our top players leave us so easily sooner or later we won't be. Players playing out of position/not getting enough minutes etc are usually sold off without too much of a fight. That is understandable.

So even if we can start churning out some talent in the future we probably won't be seeing the benefits for a decade. Although ideally yes, would be great to have a stacked team of Italians. Such a thing is impossible right now sadly.

Guys lets be honest for a moment...serie A is a POOR LEAGUE WITHOUT APPEAL. We can win all the scudetto we want, but if the league continue being this terribad... with no international appeal....sooner or later players who are not italian will get tired of steamrolling and will want better paychecks or another motivation to prove themselves.
In the past, Del Piero and co. had to year in year out fare against the bests, they had no need to find motivation because the motivation was always there in front of them.
Now, when you see outside Juve... all what can be grasped is a plethora of teams lost in the darkness, poor as fuck and without any idea of what they are doing....Juve on the other hand... is an unstopable titan which can even have the worst star in the story of the league and win it anwyays.
