You would put this seasons Licht ahead of Sandro? No wonder you don't rate Khedira :D
Well, AS spent a lot of time on the bench - which allowed Licht to be more consistent. AS had some great games, but throughout the season Licht has made a bigger contribution imo. I don't doubt though, that if Max used AS more often, he would have shown he can be consistently great. I love AS, btw.

Licht made one assist this year in Serie A. Shocking stat for a WB.

AS has 2 goals, 3 assists, more tackles per game, more interceptions, dribbles, key passes, crosses...

Not a single aspect of the game where he has been better this term than AS.

zambrotta was a universal defender, who used both of his legs for passing, crossing. this only puts him miles ahead of licht. also, he was an intelligent, cool headed player, and during his juve years, he was among the very best in the world on either flanks. zambrotta vs licht is no contest for me.

btw capello's team was unbelievably strong, though, and while i prefer today's team by a mile, my combined 11 of the 2 teams would only feature pogba, marchisio, barzagli and alex sandro from the current squad.

buffon - zambrotta, barza, cannavaro, sandy - camoranesi, marchisio, pogba, nedved - adp, trez

Del Piero was part of why i got interest in juve. Zlatan benched him and Trezeguet, depending on what Capello was thinking.

While i am a massive fan of Wallzagli and Marchisio, if you put them instead of Thuram and especially Emerson, it simply means you dont know them.

Both would easely be the best in the world in their positions today. Especially Emerson. Thank god he doesnt play today because i dont want to imagine him at Barcelona.

@Osman @CrimsonianKing can any of you describe these kids the idea of Emerson in his prime playing for today's Barcelona ?

In your (wrong) opinon.

The things is, old men such as yourself suffer from false memory caused by nostalgia.

 licht comparable to zambrotta?

Tgis is my combined team

Buffon

Thuram cannavaro zambrotta

Nedved vieira marchisio pogba sandro

Zlatan del piero

That's probably the most balanced, can be 532 when defending, with thuram and zambrotta capable of rushing forward when attacking
