What was his quote about individual talent?
“Football is a team sport, and I don't think an individual is decisive."

“Our club prefer to talk about great achievements and history. We’ve done great things in Italy and in Europe.

"We've never stopped anything for money reasons, though of course fairness is a crucial part of any negotiation.

“It’s not easy to find players worthy of Juventus. It’s not a question of money, but about finding someone who can give us what we need.

Not getting the only player we needed and the coach asked for
That's what happens when you try to sign the most important element at the end of the mercato. Cant wait for that panic buy now

The direction regarding the mercato was there, only up until the Vidal sale.

After that, he lacked direction and the injury crisis made it much worse.
Now he's left with deciding to get an AM or a CM.

Actually his worst piece of business this summer in my opinion is the Coman deal especially if it ends up being a two yr loan,

I want to hear it from you and then one after one the members of Team_Isis Marotta whose fault it is if we really end up with an incomplete squad.
Obviously Marotta. Does it mean I think he is incompetent and not the right man for Juve? No. He's proven his mettle with us over the years. Now all we can do is hope for the best for this season.

You can't manage a club like Juve hoping to find a market opportunity all the goddamn time. This is not fucking Porto.

Actually I never ever said he is incompetent or not the right man but obviously he does a lot of mistakes. Does his good overweigh his bad? Well obviously since the results speak for himself but as I see it, he has run out of steam so let's wait and see and in the meantime hope for the best.

It seems we're not getting that attacking midfielder afterall, after months of supposed chase. Feel somewhat disappointed by that turn of events and I think that most expected after sale of Vidal that we would bring an adequate replacement. Should have been absolute priority to secure at least one excellent midfielder before mercato ends. But in overall mercato isn't disappointing one, not great either. We rejuvenated our team with Cuadrado, Dybala, Sandro, Rugani, got some players off our books with heavy salaries like Llorente and I'm extremely excited to see how the season will shape up and contribution of new players. Still expect arrival of decent mid to fill the gap.

It's a good strategy to be honest, low risk high reward even with slim chances but when you reach a certain level you have to do adjustments to this strategy. Without these adjustments the fall from that high cliff will hurt.
