Actually I never ever said he is incompetent or not the right man but obviously he does a lot of mistakes. Does his good overweigh his bad? Well obviously since the results speak for himself but as I see it, he has run out of steam so let's wait and see and in the meantime hope for the best.
 that's all we can do.

Next season I'm really not going to get so invested in our market. Too stressful and annoying. These sagas are fucked.

Why does he keep saying it's not a question of money? :sergio:

There Isco
There Götze
There Mata

fuck off
it musn't be money if we can sell vidal for 37m when he clearly is worth MUCH more (fuck vidal btw)

our team has significantly worsened imo. depth is better but that's it. not having tevez and vidal is going to be huge.

It's a good strategy to be honest, low risk high reward even with slim chances but when you reach a certain level you have to do adjustments to this strategy. Without these adjustments the fall from that high cliff will hurt.
To be fair he did those adjustments by overpaying for Juventus quality player in Alex Sandro.
But obviously he dint prioritize the one position that needed to be and that's AM position.

We missed our AM opportunities early in the summer in Douglas Costa and Firmino.

Yeah, this turns to be a shit mercato for us. Everything was too good to be true until we sold Vidal, and since then everything went downhill, only Sandro's arrival softened the blow.

This mercato should be named as most random mercato ever!!!

Oh the overreactions.
Expected tbh  Only black or white on this forum.

I'm still happy with the signings of Cuadrado, Sandro, Dybala and Rugani. Tevez and Pirlo were inevitable losses and so not much can be said about those...but selling Vidal for only 37m and not signing a replacement straight away (and not even at the end of the mercato) is obviously poor. Leaves a sour taste.

That's it. I'm just puzzled as to why he didn't make that his priority. Would love to know the reasoning.

very poor for a club of Juve's stature... we were royally fucked in all our outgoing deals!

Cuadrado is a good deal? hell even Inter took Jovetic on loan :D

So... our mercato this year:

We turned a top 3 midfield in all of football into a who knows what midfield, without an attacking midfielder.

We improved the depth of our forwards and lowered the quality of our starting attack.

We improved the left back position.

Solid 4/10 as things currently stand. We're significantly worse than last year, and the management has forced our coach into a formation change with their incompetence. Sure, we made a few very good signings, but they by no means make up for the idiocy of selling the starting CAM for less than market value, and not replacing him with another top class CAM.
