The reason some of us are throwing the term feeder club around is not because we sold Coman or even Vidal. It is because we sold them and likely will sell Pogba in the near future, and there is a good chance Morata could return to Madrid in the near future. Then it makes you wonder how long we will even keep our new guys, Alex Sandro, Dybala, Draxler (if we get him). It's just not reassuring at all

we should have kept tevez until his contract expired and arguably we made a mistake selling vidal becuase khedira is not reliable in terms of fitness. we should have added the extras on top of our core players.

I'm not going to panic for the mercato yet unless I see Marotta at the Roma game when he should be fucking doing something to wrap up these transfers.

Please don't be at the game Beppe...

This Mercato is like one of those drunken Friday night FIFA 15 episodes where you sim'd through the whole summer and started buying random players because you thought it would be cool only to start a new career the next day.

He's in Rome...

He's staying at my hotel with all the juventus team, although he was on the phone at 10pm last night at the bar... Hopefully closing draxler!

It was a tough summer. We really had to make a lot of changes and refresh our team with young players for the future.
This will be a crucial season for our development. Untill the new guys blend in and grow up to be the star player, their ascenting carriers aspire them to become,
we might have a few sidesteps though..
So in this demanding mercato, that will define Juve's future, Marotta ought to come up with a plan, secure our priorities and materialise a vision for the future.
Marotta has strenghts and weaknesses and all of them have shown in this mercato.
His inability to create funds from selling players at decent prices (Tevez, Llorente, Pirlo, Giovinco, Coman, etc)
His tendency to overpay for unproven serie A material, with 40mil spent on Dybala and 20 spent on Zaza...
His remarcable ability to find CMs and SSs, in great quantities and many times great CMs as free agents. With Marotta it is quaranteed we wont run out of CMs and he worked his marvel again with a free Khedira!
He finally made the difference in Juve's recent history, by finally acquiring a great Lb in Sandro, finally locking a permanent solution to a transfer matter that haunts us more than a decade.
His poor negotiating skills at loaning\partially owning players, reflected again on the Coman deal, which was a reversed Morata deal, with getting the sort stick, in both sides of the table...negating his excellent acquisition of him as a free agent, in a time were the seek of an Am like him, will make, or break this mercato.

For all the elements we brought to work, we still lack an essential compoment, the man who will work as the link of our midfield with our new forwards. This is of extreme importance, imo more than acquiring a Talented Ss like Dybala, with the potential to reach Tevez level 5 years from now.
Even selling Vidal would be justified for getting this specialised tool, that the new age Juve will be built upon.
We all thought that he had a well put plan in place, he couldnt let the most important piece in fate's hands, so to be decided in the duying moments of mercato.
With the sale of Vidal, many thought it was going to be a Godge, Isco, Oscar class player, with Coman as his sub. I was a bit dissapointed to see its only Draxler, but I guess that his talent is good enough for the future and this team is not destined to compete right away.
Now, there are rumors that claim that the deal might go off, but we must remain calm, no need to make the final judgement before the final outcome. Marotta still has time to make the move, maybe he knows that with 40mil, he can get Godge, or Oscar at any moment and he wanted to put the pressure on Draxler side and see what happens.

Marotta managed something truly special this time in getting himself on a free transfer. Perhaps Beppe's masterplan is to play trequartista himself... :D
