Tevez, Pirlo and Llorente all going for basically nothing is ridiculous. Yes I know they have wages but so do their replacements. They still have more than enough ability for someone to pay for them
this

What else do you want? Marotta to sell players we basically got for free while we're getting rid of their fat pay-checks?
what about.....Yes?

They came on a free!, godamn take advantage of that! At the very lñeast 5 mils should be theprice of llorente, and we are underselling him IMO. He is a WC winner and is not useless.

Some moves were inevitable.

2 big mistakes though: selling Vidal and signing Zaza. Mainly selling Vidal, obviously. Should have hold onto him. Too many changes on a summer, the transition should have gone smoother.
We dont know what happened with Vidal, but we should have looked for better offers at the very least, and make him understand our position. Zaza is the new isla, therefore, bad.

That €5m wouldn't have made any difference anyway.

We are not getting any top AM.
So?. He is still an asset that should be sold for the price he is valued. We are a fukin charity right now and thats inexcusable. We loan our trash until its unsellable, or a soft as hell when dealing with other teams. Its disgusting.

Genuine question not trolling, what other clubs let established players with years left on their contract leave for nothing?

I can't think of any but I'm sure there must be an example.

So if he rejected anything not spain, and nothing in spain that was interested could afford him, you'd keep him on the bench for a year ?

Answer that question please

People here wanted us to finally spend big money and we're doing so.

So far 120 million and AM is coming.

What else do you want? Marotta to sell players we basically got for free while we're getting rid of their fat pay-checks?

Sit back and enjoy the ride.

We're rich bitch.
We're so rich that we afford to give out players for free.

Or we terminate a contract cause we couldnt pay it ?
Couldn't, or wouldn't?

Big difference there, dude.

Look, this just doesn't seem right, no matter how you put it.

I understand getting rid of the salary, but that was a salary that we did not inherit, but we gave him.

But aside from that. He was given to a club that , believe it or not, has more European success than we do in the last 5 years, playing in a league that is arguably stronger than ours, and unquestionably more prestigious.

This is not some middling club or newly promoted minnow, Zach. This is also a club who have not spent a large amount this season, and received 30 million for Bacca.

Come on man. Something isn't right here, and you know it

Because he is shit now. So we had no leverage and were in a tough spot. So we elected to get rid of his wages because obviously no one would pay money for him on top of his wages.

He was good a year ago and helped us win titles. But now he is shit so he has to go.

I guess we could be like Milan or Inter and use players to help us win titles and then keep them on the books for the next 10 years while they sink us like the Titanic. But I would prefer we didn't do that. Especially for a player that cost us $0M initially.

Is it confirmed that Llorente is leaving for free? I don't think its official yet, anyway me too was hoping to have him leaving for a 10 million to get some money for the transfer coffers.

But lets be honest here, its a tough for Marotta to sell players in a piss poor league like ours. Add a 30 year old , who is on a high wage,4.5 million and can only manage to score 9 goals in 45 games, well that's not very attractive. We can't sell players in our league, we got to attract clubs from other leagues, even they look pay lower prices for players from Serie A unless comes from a scintillating form or one of the rich boys, its a bloody difficult chance , and we are paying the price of having a piss poor league . If we were in EPL, or even Bundesliga , a player like De Ceglie , could be easily offloaded for some cash. So then we got the player who doesn't want to reduce his wage, not looking attractive, being selective with not much clubs coming in, Marotta did the best he could in this conditions.
