Grinta is what we need for the Serie a IMO. And talent for the CL.
A number 10 can be Draxler or a Goetze. It is the quality of the 10 to be honest.
Sure, but that's never going to happen if the outgoing players are undersold and a level above the incoming ones. An outgoing Vidal needs replacing with a slightly more marquee prospect than an injury affected Draxler.
I actually don't agree with the we will sell players if they ask to leave stance.
That's sad, coz Pogba is effectively going to see that with Barcelona next year, and Dybala the year after. Only Juve stand to lose if this is the approach they take.
Agree. Although it may not just be Goetze, because that's too specific, but closer to his level, than Draxler, just because Draxler falls within 25m bracket.
That's actually a pretty unfair take, to bring down all of Vidals work and value down to an injury plagued start to the season which had a knock on effect. Other than that he is going to fly at Bayern and he already showed glimpses of his old form In the latter half of the season.
In fact, daylight robbery would be paying 25m upfront despite not being convinced about a players fitness level, and after first asking for him on a loan as a result - and after having that turned down, be willing to buy him outright just so that you have something to show for after selling a pillar of the team. As per GDM, and some sources here, seems like Draxler and zgoetze are on the agenda, but we are willi to close with Schalke by switching to an outright purchase.
Frankly, Vidal could've got a higher salary than 6.5m, but more interesting than that, it is what Marrotta said about the length of the contract Bayern offered, which implies that Juve themselves were not considering keeping him as well. It's all too coincidental that Vidal went from 'I'd like stay at this club forever' to 'I want to leave' in a matter of a month. There's more than meets the eye about this sale and I'm sure we will know more when the player speaks too.
We may not have to wait till then, seeing as they are already working on their so called targets. I'm just hoping they don't settle for the one within their 'economic parameters'
