if you really wanted to 'strengthen' the team for Europe, of that calibre, wouldn't most of them be cup tied anyway?
Perhaps, but that also reflects on the transfer strategy/push/objective from the summer of 2014. Based on how it unfolded do people actually feel that we adequately satisfied the needs of the squad to compete in Europe?

Or do people believe that we did?

Or do people believe that Allegri has what he needed to advance to QF per his prediction?

Or do we revert to another lame excuse that we didn't want to overspend and thus brought in Evra and we further 'balanced the books' and drop another reference to our 'project'?

I would simply accept the valid response that we did not strengthen for Europe despite another limp dick effort.

Yet another disappointing transfer window, yet another uber failure at selling.
After paying 12 mil to get back Giovinco's half back, Marotta now loses the player on a free transfer, thus making of him a new Amauri...
He fails yet another time to get us the Vidic we need, while he keeps making an extra cash for his behalf, by taking his cut from pointless transfers like the Sturaro one...

Do you think Marotta can sell Pogba for more than 100m?

This summer Marotta will reach a new stage in his greatness.

Once Rugani is in, he will sell Bonucci to Milan for 11 million and bring in Mata.

We will sell Bonucci to Milan for 11m, he will flop in their shitty system and we will bring back for free on loan paying half his salary. :beppe:

Hopefully he knows that our squad is in desperate need of some rejuvenation and that a quiet summer will be taking us nowhere. Plenty of great deals to be made in the football world as their are so many misused and unused talents around. We need to get in some young lads and phase put some of the older ones and the ones that are simply not good enough for the level we're trying to get back to.

true, the names available we 20m plus and Marotta was never going to pull those deals off in the winter break.

Happy with what he did but my concerns are that Allegri screamed for an AM and didn't get it. He screamed for a CB and with Barzagli's return said that will do him but can we rely on Barzagli for the remainder of the season?

Rugani is the best deal...and potentially already organizing the sign up in the summer for Neto is good also. PDC who cares...Matri...well I don't think he'll play much.
